Now you’re on track for a 1600!!! 😬
Y’all I got a 1410 my second time around!!!
1580 here (paper SAT) - some advice:
- do some focused practice on Khan Academy. Especially for English, where the test seems very nebulous but there are actually only like 15 total "types" of questions, practicing can be super helpful.
- for the math section, digital: unless time is a super big issue for you, GRAPH EVERYTHING. I cannot overstate how overpowered desmos is for like 90% of problems but especially those with two or more functions.
- memorize the quadratic formula: one or two questions per quiz will just be a rewriting of the quadratic formula and so this is an easy couple points
- on the english section: your first task each question should be to cross off two answers, full stop. Find out the shitty answers (there are almost always two!) and cross them off. Start thinking from there.
Good luck to younger students!
Paper SAT was harder tbh
@@thewhat2 lol what? none of these don't apply to the digital format - and, for the most part, the questions are similar/the same.
@@thewhat2 It's more relevant now if anything
@@thewhat2that was incredibly ignorant. 😂
yeah, desmos is op (I got a 790 on the math section largely because of it)
Already accepted to school. I just want to relive some trauma
You just helped me better than most videos I’ve watched onSAT don’t be to hard on ur self bruh and I like the honesty
Rewatching this video to take the digital sat in about 14-30 minutes. Good luck to everyone else taking theirs!
What was your score?
Why did I watch this as a sophomore in college? I didn’t even study for the SAT.
And you scored ?!😊
@@danieldanmola8266 1260
@@danieldanmola82661540 first try
what score did you get ?
@@atomicplay1864 using a question to reply a question?🥴🥴? Well I've never written before
I took the digital SAT, and honestly desmos absolutely CARRIED me through the math section.
Results come out in a week hoping for a 1300
hopefully you get higher then that
What are your results?
the thing about mainly using your physical calculator is the only thing I would disagree with - putting Desmos on there absolutely kills pretty much 100% of the Math section, you don't have to spend your time picking the thing up and typing a bunch of unnecessary buttons like "2nd" and it pretty much will show you everything you need to know right there on the graph. Also it's just more intuitive to use in general.
Yes, that is true. In my calculus class, they teach us how to use the calculator a bunch. I find it easier to use the physical calculator, personally, and I should have kept my personal interpretation out of the equation.
Also, I did another practice test today, and desmos, along with my own calculator, was able to get me through the math section with a whole fifteen minutes to spare. They are each very useful-and overpowered-tools
I actually heard a lot about how can desmos help you with all the questions but I don't get it, can you recommend me a video or something that helps?
And all this time Freddie was watching us
4:40 I’m sorry, this is so funny and made me loosen up after melting down over the SAT this Saturday 😭 you’re such a king
Don’t be to hard on ur self you helped me.more than anyone these past few days love the honesty
PS I got a 1580 with this on a practice test
@@thezeeking7103 thank you, that is very nice of you!
You are gonna do fantastic on the exam!
I hope you will do very well on your SAT
Wish I saw this before my SAT
nah cuz same. mine was today.
1530 in the March Test here (with the first prep test being 1200). Gud advice, but practicing questions on paper is still a good idea. Bluebook only help with getting use to how to use the reading tools and desmos!
dawg this removed so much stress from me
The programs on my calculator saved me so much during my DSAT, ended up with a 770 in math and I'm very happy with that
this was so fun to watch
Thank u. My exam is on May 4th will come back to post my score :)
omg same gd luck!!
no way bru same and i only started studying yesterday
@@Isabel-xi3cf i got same date as well lmk what you get
Same here! Good luck to y’all
Same here, good luck to the rest!
Thanks it's really helpful for my up coming exam by the way you're so😅😅 hilarious
Hiiiii im a sophomore rn in hs so your tips and tricks were helpful
thx for the tips im absolutely dogpiling the sat tomorrow !!
Ts made me laugh lmoa I gotta subscribe
I thought you meant the Mexican "Servicio de Administración Tributaria" or SAT too. The equivalent in Mexico to the IRS
I would have clicked too
Even better video concept right there
Kind sir if u have any more reading section tips DO send them my way because so far ours align.
Heyyyy! Imagine how much you vacuum clean in 2 minutes and 15 seconds
GOAT just spiting facts
oh this looks sm easier than all the paper sat practice ive been doing lmao 😭😭 i have mine tmr maybe its not over yet
digital is way easier in my opinion
@@xalimoainthome gen z is so dumb they had to make it easier for us 😭😭
@IsaacHND we r so cooked u seen them ppl cheatin with chatgpt in uni?😭😭
What color was the book again?
Greenbook ig
Damn. When I took this test a couple years afo I didn't have these tips or have desmos
yeah digital is op lol
Thx ❤
Also for minimums if you know second derivative test just do that
Yea I was going to say that, but I figured most people didn’t take calculus. If you take the first derivative and set it equal to zero, you can find the max or min
I think typing the equation into desmos is a lot easier
I’ve got 1360 1390 1420 1500
Taking tomorrow 😂
Might be cooked math module 2 had to guess like 4 but rest I’m convinced was flawless
Wow thats nice, i hope i get the same, i took my first SAT on the 23rd of march so like 6 days ago, it was digital, my score should be 2 weeks from the test day so next week hopefully
nice man. yeah i got a decent score 1470 but I have to retake to go to those top top colleges. FR make sure your algebra fundamentals are great for math section. And reading understand sentence structure, subject modifiers. If you ever gotta retake its fine@@nour3660
@@nour3660 how much you got
i recently gave DSAT i got 1300 (780 math and 520 R&W) what i can do to improve my R&W score?
Study and get used to the questions. Understand what the question is asking, and be sure that you pick the ONE answer that BEST Fits
I'm so disappointed right now, I like to read the notes you see.
Btw nice video length, 12:34 lol
My tip is: play relaxing music while you take the test
dawg u can’t use phones
you cant open any other app unless you want yourself disqualified TwT the hell
what am i gonna get??? 1600!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok so how much did y'all get?
1340, taking it again in June :)
@@MrCarrot__ I mutilated it; 1540
Bro is such a king 😭
the dsat is not question adaptive; it's module adaptive. you wont get a hard question if you dont select an answer. the set of question that you'll get is determined when you start a module.
But questions are randomized no? Like 22 questions will be given in a random order to everyone, but difficulty of questions increases as you go further on?
The first module is pretty much the same for everyone, but if you get more than 15 of 27 correct on module one, module two will be raised in difficulty
why am i here i'm not even american
😂
you're too quirky broski
Fyi if you cant narrow down anything it's okay to leave it blank. The sat will actually guess for you
God this kid yaps get to the point……
again, not a professional :)
