I am a project manager on a construction project at the moment and responsible for writing some requirements documents for building management software we are looking to implement to manage the buildings. When the FAcilities people start talking about BAS and all that it entails, I just don't get it. I did a site walkthrough with a Facilities Management that showed me a lot of things and it has helped, but I am looking for more. This video has enlightened me so much as you have a way to explain this clearly. It has made things so much clearer for a newbie like me. I will look at the follow up sessions. Thank you very much for that.

You know training people in BAS may be one of the toughest to do. There is no way to understand the textbooks without first seeing the practical field results first. As an example, without understanding a typical building ventilation index it's hard to understand the reason for an airflow monitoring station. There are thousand's of examples just like this.

    good stuff.
I would like to take one system and go through from top to the bottom in many videos as required with describing, each component how it works, what kind of signaling protocols going on. Don't go mad with explaining in a very simplistic way, better just use right technical words instead and make videos short as possible. Voltages, types of wires used, and one or two examples of controllers with high-level overview finally with programing it to achieve exact real-life results.
    thank you in advance.
