Bringing stem cells to patients: Treating age-related blindness

- Learn about the ongoing stem cell-based clinical trials to treat the most common form of age-related blindness, macular degeneration. This public symposium features a team of doctors, scientists and engineers from USC, Caltech, City of Hope and the University of California, Santa Barbara, as well as a patient whose vision improved after participating in the clinical trials supported by the state’s stem cell agency, the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM).
This absolutely MUST be made available and MUST be legalized in the US with potential insurance coverage. I cannot stress more about the importance of stem cell implantations for eye diseases.
Praying for this to be available. As someone who has geographic atrophy I can only pray...
I have AMD for 5yrs now and have kept it at bay by doing Eye Exercises and taking Eye Nutrients and good veggies for my Eyes. If I stop AMD goes right back to progression within 2 days. I do hope this corrective Medical practice does formulate a remedy for AMD.
I do have floaters that I can live with.

You mean normal tension or high tension POAG (primary open angle glaucoma)?
Western medication forever can't effectively treat and reverse POAG.
