My family is from Kallar Syedan but we are settled in Canada now. I used to visit our village a lot from the early 1980s to the late 1990s but I have not been back in 13 years. Watching this video makes me yearn and reminisce about the Potohar of bygone days.

i have no hope left that the men are good in any way but i am still trying to seek some help to get rid of my problem . i need guidance . can you help me out in solving my problem . there is no one in my life and i need a man as i feel a man would better be able to find a solution . i am in severe depression . i just want to ask you if you could provide me with a guidance in the form of mentor . I started living in this city 'Rawalpindi' 7 years after this video was captured, in 1982. I lived in Rawalpindi for 8 years. It was such a peaceful time. Those double-decker buses were replaced by big Volvo buses then; very comfortable buses. Travelled in those buses and some time Morris taxis and some time in Tanga from Peerwadhai to Murree road. Pakistan was run by dictator Gen Zia Ul Haq and Rawalpindi was the hub of activities BUT everyday life was more calm and blissful. It was a privillege to live in Rawalpindi during those years of my life.

I was born in 1975 ...... it's sad that poverty levels are still the same ......no traffic because no one had cars.....Rest of the world progressed and we still stand we're we were back than SHAME ON US.
