The Gospel of Bartholomew is a missing text amongst the New Testament apocrypha, mentioned in several early sources. It may be identical to either the Questions of Bartholomew, the Resurrection of Jesus Christ (by Bartholomew), or neither.
Early source references to the Gospel of Bartholomew:
In the prologue to his commentary on Matthew, Jerome mentions a "Gospel of Bartholomew" among several other apocryphal gospels.
The author of the Decretum Gelasianum includes "the Gospels in the name of Bartholomew" in a list of condemned or unacceptable scriptures.

Jerome, in the prologue to his Commentary on Matthew, mentions a number of apocryphal Gospels -those according to the Egyptians, Thomas, Matthias, Bartholomew, the Twelve, Basilides, and Apelles: probably he depends upon Origen, for he himself disliked and avoided apocryphal books, with few exceptions; the Gospel according to the Hebrews, for instance, he hardly reckoned as apocryphal. Of this Gospel of Bartholomew we have no sort of description: we find it condemned in the Gelasian Decree, which may mean either that the compiler of the Decree knew a book of that name, or that he took it on trust from Jerome. In the pseudo-Dionysian writings two sentences are quoted from 'the divine Bartholomew,' and a third has just been brought to light from the kindred 'book of Hierotheus'. But one cannot be sure that these writers are quoting real books.
We have, however, a writing attributed to Bartholomew which attained some popularity; the manuscripts do not call it a Gospel, but the Questions of Bartholomew.

When you translate directly from paleo hebrew who they spoke in the days of Moses you get Yahooah and Yahoosha.
When they wrote in coptic or greek back in the days they still used the paleo hebrew letters for the name as you can see here.

The letter J dident even exist 500 years ago. So Jesus cant have been hes name. How could Jesus have come in hes fathers name God. It makes no sence.

the Roman accounts of the historical son of God affirm that Jesus was actually known by that greek version we know as Iesos/Iesous. And Jesus was not Yehooshah. Jesus antique Hebrew name would have been Yehoshua and Joshua. Don't come with unconfirmed notions or be moved to deny the PERSON of Christ because of wierd Ideas regarding his name.
He saves you by faith in him alone, not by ascribing a particular version of his name to him, but by that name HE attained for himself (read book of hebrews) . Be blessed and know, Jesus saves to the outermost and no one can stop him.

An amazing text, would be nice to see more positive comments from believers. Isnt it obvious that the Catholic Church was manipulated by Satan from the beginning and hid these Truths and made up their own ideas. Also love the voices of characters Robert, keep up the epic work of Jesus you are doing.
You claim this book of Bartholomew is better or more authentic? It is in line with the book of Barnabas which makes false prophecies: 'muhammad the white cloud of mercy', mentioned in the Barnabas gospel is never mentioned in any other gospel of the entire Bible as we know it. Many of the claims of a particular Bartholomew gospel are similar.
Another fact remains that the gospel prophecying 'muhammad the white cloud of mercy' was mainly circulated in Egypt, and their traditions found their way to Arabia over the red sea. It was there that a clan of the Quraysh tribe - the Banu Hashim probably took hold of the text(s) and adopted its views. It certainly can't be seen as a coincidence that a man, muhammad by name would later become a unifying warlord, claiming to fulfill prophecies long made, destroying the local God's of the Quraysh and establishing his kingdom, never truly becoming that white cloud promised in that gospel.
I find it dangerous to trust noncanonical books for that reason.
Let's hope, whatever God there is, that he might save every single person despite religion or deed, but for the sake of mercy alone. Amen.

@cmpresents It IS kind of far-out, but it is what it is, just like these books are what they are. They filter out the "too-literal-minded" so that those who have an ability to see through superficialities can see the more spiritual truths they convey. It is that way for the same reason Jesus himself says he speaks in parables; so that people like this may see and yet not see, and hear and yet not hear. One either looks for patterns and consistency, or else one dismisses it as absurd....

It's a LOT of trouble to explain everything from beginning to end because concepts build on other concepts, and to try and explain them all as I go is tedious and requires a lot of back story...but if you've read any of my Guidebook for the Elect series, or Understanding Paul, you'll get a sense of how heavenly things are couched in earthly terminology. If you'll look into those series', what I will say about this will make more sense.

59 Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.
60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee.
61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
62 And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the LORD thy God.
63 And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.

Rob. I have to tell you, I'm pretty new to all this but the Holy Spirit has truly been giving me so much and so quickly. I have talked with you about the fact that I was surprised how you have been working on this for so many years and how it had not spread like wildfire.
I have been trying to study to show myself approved yet I want to share what I know. I would love to get your opinion on something. Especially after reading these comments. I realized that there are so many, seemingly more than the ones who are getting it that people aren't either ready, or they just don't have the Spirit in them. It's unbelievable to me that people are actually murmuring about the way you read these precious words. They have no comprehension of what they actually have been given. It's like, who is their Father? 😂 It solidifies that my question is legit lol question being, is it time to share far and wide or do you think that at this time we should be just helping our fellow brethren? I have been given so much so quickly reading with the Holy Spirit and I have still much to learn but I have been getting this impression that we aren't really to give certain things out because we're giving also knowledge of where we are right now to the enemy. Does that even make sense? I know that your work hasn't exploded simply because it wasn't time. It must be so hard on you! I know he says that we are to share the gospel, but I also know that it's supposed to be kept secret until a time. I don't want to be the person who buried the talent but I also don't want to say much until I truly get it myself. What do you think?

I know you don't run your website and please don't take this as criticism because I'm not trying to be like these haters on here lol Father has put some thoughts in me about a need for a site that could help fellow brethren in a different way, not different, but just as a tool, like maybe a pdf file where we could add keys or our interpretation of words. The one thing I stumbled on is that it was over my head for a whole lol What I mean by that is you don't realize how genius you truly are lol meaning, you don't understand that most people are not that smart and since they've yet to be enlightened they have a difficult time grasping even your vocabulary. I had to learn even many words you said just explaining 😂 I know this is ONE of the reasons he chose you.
I would include a sort of introduction to the whole story. The explanation of the basic Who each apostle represents and their importance. You have done the work Rob. @cmpresents I see what you're saying, but you have to understand that all Scripture is parabolic in nature, w/ literary elements like similes and metaphors etc. To try to see this or any apocryphal writing as literally true is a mistake. Like the "Wizard of OZ," or "Aesop's Fables," the truth does not lie on the surface and is not "historical" in nature. One has to see it as allegory. It's just that some books of this nature are more 'realistic' and 'accurate,' but ALL are parabolic in nature.

The world was even more ungodly in those days when it came to actual believers in Jesus Christ as savior. That's why so many books had to be written to Corinthians and Thessalonians and Galatians, etc. Because those churches cap incorporating ungodly things into them. We don't have as much of a problem today as we have a problem with dividing doctrine but most of the churches today agree on Jesus Christ and savior and repenting and turning from sin. A lot of those churches back in Jesus's day and The disciples day after Jesus's resurrection or incorporating sexual acts into their Church and other abominable things so Paul had to correct them over and over again. We don't have as much problem today here in America as they did back then.

I have read them and i do wonder why did the mother church decide on taking it out of the bible and i felt one scriptures are similar and they also filled with mystery and you need the holy spirit to help you interpret them, just like the parable of the vine

@cmpresents It IS logical in its own regard. No one seriously regards the Revelation of John as true "history" where real bona fide "whores" and "dragons" etc., are meant. The words are there to convey higher and deeper things, and it is all symbolic. This is all along those lines. There were plenty of people who opposed that book on similar grounds.

I'm not sure which translation you read from; Greek, Slavonic or Latin, but in the reading of 1:32 you say "three", where the extant text says "fifty-three". Afterwards you jump to passage 1:34, all together missing passage 33 , in chapter 1.

I really was hungry for an eventual Gospel written by Bartholomew, for the following reasons : - he was the only disciple who, at first sight JESUS was saying >this is an israelite in whom there is no flaws>; and also JESUS told him that he would see GOD's angels going up and down upon THE SON OF MAN.
Bartholomew was the first disciple to recognize JESUS as both THE SON OF GOD and THE KING OF ISRAEL>.
Surely, a testimony from this man would reflect a different aspect of JESUS' ministry on earth.
MARY, the human mother of JESUS, was the most privileged witness for the truth about JESUS. and a Gospel written by her would be the most reliable; albeit it could be revered to the detriment of the other gospels.
People like Johann, Suzann, Salome, Mary of Magdala could be interesting sources too.
The disciples who failed to record for us a very important teaching of JESUS CHRIST were Cleopas and his friend. Remember, these were the ones JESUS met with while they were on the road to Emmaus. At one point, JESUS spoke to them all the biblical references related to HIM (in the Books of the laws, the Prophets, The Psalms), explaining the meaning of these verses. Cleopas and his fellow did not talk about theses teachings but only their encounter with THE RISEN CHRIST.
Each word of GOD and CHRIST is worthy to record and be shared to others. These revealed truth are real God-given treasure for the salvation of our soul.

I’m sure the truth is going to be strange like this either way. The bible leaves out tons if detail. And the thing of the heavenly realm are hardly explained, so whatever it is will shock us either way. At least we can agree on this.

Regarding the apostles calling Peter father.
Peter is historically seen as chief of the apostles. He also appears alongside James and John and represents the church in a parable. That is why the apostle call him father in this gospel. It's not because this was a Catholic counterfeit.
But in Matthew 23:9 it says, "And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in Heaven"
Just seems that is something they would faithfully keep since Christ commanded it.
