    Folks, I just installed this fender eliminator on my CRF300L today and let me tell you, this kit is second to none. This is the real deal.
    If you are on the fence about spending a little more for this kit than you would for other fender eliminators, let me tell you, you will NOT be disappointed. This thing looks so good compared to any other kit, and it is perfectly simple to install.

    Excellent video as always. Ordered one of these taillights for my CRF300l in the UK. It is extremely bright, far better than the OEM one. The brake light modulator emphasises that your braking to prevent you from being smushed! Keep up the great work and inventing new products for the CRF300l 😊👍

      That is great to hear. We worked really hard at making that unit fit and function well on that bike. We wanted to make it look seamless with the design of the bike, and not feel like an afterthought like many of the competitor parts that cost the same or even more. Thank you for sharing your experience. Cheers!

    I like it, big improvement. It seems to me though that it could use a gasket of some sort where the unit meets the bike. I was waiting for a close-up of the finished product from straight behind but didn't get that. At 35:36 you can catch a glimpse of the light coming through the finished install and a few glimpses after that. It look more apparent right when it is being installed initially at 20:30 onward the movement behind the bike is visible through the gap. Power-washing comes to mind for example. But that's the kind of thing I keep a good chunk of used inner tube around for.

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  Před 11 měsíci +1

      The gap is no bigger than with OE light. If you get water in between the subtray and light there are plenty of weep holes and water routing to get that water to the ground.

    The LED number plate lamp protrudes a few mm from the number plate bracket, meaning the number plate cannot be attached flush. Am I doing something wrong or is this the design? Any advice would be appreciated. I don’t really want to drill holes in my number plate.

    Does the brake light modulator make the brake light blink like that? Is there an option to have the brake light just solid and not blinking?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  Před 11 měsíci

      The tail light we manufacture and sell for this bike does not blink by default. That is added by thte modulator. If you do not add the modulator then the brake light will be solid.

    After installing this, is there any way to retain the running light on your rear turn signals?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  Před rokem +1

      Rear signals on this bike do not have a running light circuit from the manufacturer. If you need to have running light from your rear signals, OE or aftermarket, you will need our Running Mate accessory, and will need to tap into tail light running light circuit for constant 12v supply.

    • @gbulldog35
      @gbulldog35 Před rokem

      @@TSTindustries I just ordered this unit I'm looking forward to installing her this week. I might go without the additional signals but I do like the slim signals you guys offer and would like to have the running lights on if possible, thanks for the help I appreciate the installation video!

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  Před rokem +1

      @@gbulldog35 I think we may have had a miscommunication. Were you wanting to have the integrated tail light and external signals? If so then that is really easy with our aftermarket pod signals because of the built in pigtails on the harness. It is also pretty easy with OE signals you just have to buy the Honda specific Y-splitter harness we have. If you are comfortable with doing some wiring you will not need the Y-splitter but then you will need to tap the tail light signal positives into the positive wire of the external signals

    • @gbulldog35
      @gbulldog35 Před rokem

      @@TSTindustries No problem I appreciate the help; I ordered the integrated tail light fender kit, and would also like to get the rear BL6 pod light signals, but would like to have them as running lights as well, is that possible?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  Před rokem +1

      @@gbulldog35 BL6 only have amber LEDs. If you use those for rear running light there is no way to illuminate in proper red rear light color. If you want to proceed regardless of that, your electrical config would look like this: tail light plugged into main and signal connectors, Running Mate yellow to BL6 yellow, black to black. Running Mate red to pigtail black, brown to pigtail brown or green depending on the side you are wiring up. The remaining blue has to get tapped into the main taillight connector's running light wire, which is also blue. When purchasing the Running Mate kit you have to opt for the one that comes with the extra blue wire with connectors and posi-tap connectors for the actual tap.

    Awesome light i really really liked it but it comes with a REALLY BIG FLAW! It needs a third mounting point at the bottom of the light. As the plastic housing is not strong enough to support its own weight. THEY BREAK AT THE MOUNTING TABS!! I went thru 2 light in 30 days same problem both times. Just riding look back and see the light just hanging after cruising at 30-45 mph in Dallas roads.😢 i see how 12Oclocklabs light does.

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  Před 11 měsíci

      There is a third mount on the light. It tabs in with the bodywork of the bike. The force distribution on the system is in multiple locations and around its perimeter. If your bodywork is damaged or deformed you aren't using all the mounting features and that is probably your issue. We tested this setup on the road, and riding enduro through the forest. Hopping logs, crashing a bunch of times, whoops for days, and jumps. The light setup survived all of that. Besides that, you are the only one person that keeps having this issue, so maybe we can look into what the cause is in your specific case and solve that. If you are the gentleman that sent in those photos of a ragged out and previously looped 300L then I kjnow what your issue is. If you want I will give you a new undertail for the bike so you can replace it, get the actual experience the light was designed for, and then let me know your comments.

      This is not even in question form, so why the question mark. Anyway, I am holding one of the prototypes in my hands. I've got the design done, the molds almost finished, and I decided to redesign the circuitry for added light output. No release date yet.
