The escalating synth melody just lacks luster. Doesn’t sound as dynamic as the Korg or Roland synth anyma uses but this is pretty stellar. I’m sure some more fix tweaking would fix this

You’re surely right, this is indeed just a quick/rough way to achieve that Anyma vibe on syntakt, with tweaking but also post processing one can make it more exciting :) here is 100% raw syntakt stereo output, just a limiter on the master.
