I'm from Perth Western Australia but friends of mine that moved to Croydon Victoria go to Robe every year on a fishing trip to fish for mulloway, they have told me how the tracks are good but can turn shit real quick. Robe is nice yeah.

Invest in a brush cutter a stupid as it sounds it is quite smart especially when you're in the truck. You need a brush cutter with an extension and a chainsaw end on it so you can reach up and cut the branches away and you can get them in a 4-stroke Honda

Since being set uo for touring i use the percentage of air as a guide.
Drop by half, by half, by half. For my truck that is 70psi, to 35 to 18. But they can change depending of weights at the time.
Too many variables with all the utes and trucks.
There is a sign tell people to drop to 28psi or something on the steep point road. If someone has an accident and is injured they could be held liable.
Good to see you testing and finding the limits without damage to the truck and the environment.

We stayed at the same park four years ago over the Xmas period and we had nothing but wind, we couldn’t even eat outside. We did have a great day doing a beach drive and dunes tho. So great to see Ollie on the move, o stopping him now. Make sure you take the boys to the giant crayfish at Kingston if you haven’t already. ❤

Great stuff as usual guys. Amazing to see the truck around my old stomping grounds down the south east and would have turned a few of the locals heads seeing something that big down there 😆. We spent a lot of years going back and forth surf fishing there. Some of those beaches can be a handful with a much lighter 4WD. So much fun watching you guys and a Friday night with a few beers watching your channel is a great way to end the week. 👍👍👍

As with your recent video, these problems would not have happened if you just dial up traction pressures with central tyre inflation. Drive out in low then top up again. That's why all the 4x4 fire trucks working the Mallee have been fitted out with it.
I guess if the budget allows it, it would be a good idea 🙌 our tyre pressures were down 🤙

Hey thanks for watching !! The truck by itself will over take other for sure but when it is fully loaded with boat and caravan it’s a slug with no head winds fully loaded we sit comfortable around 90👍 thanks for watching

I had an 1994 dual cab Mitsubishi Canter 4x4 with, I think 325/75 16s ? on it, aired them down to 18 psi front and 14psi back plenty of times with no probs, never used the max tracks ever but always had em :), should mention it was pretty light, just an open tray with no setup on it, yours might be heavier ?
currently converting a 2007 dual cab FTS 750 into a camper, already got the singles (385/65/22.5s) on it, its an Ex Rio Tinto rail chase truck and its got the Allison 2500 double overdrive so great long legs for these sorta vehicles , 4th direct, .83 5th and .64 6th I think ?

It was actually good on the dunes with the camper we got stuck 2 times in the desert were we had to max trax etc which we thought was pretty good 🤠

Great videos but just about every single time the kids car seat straps are twisted. Have a quick google and you’ll see how incredibly dangerous this is. It’s so important to make sure there are no twists in their straps. It could save their lives.

Appreciate your comment! Unfortunately the boys know how to strap themselves in and out plus adjust their straps on their seats. We are attempting to be onto them more.
