Tejeda, one of the most beautiful towns in Gran Canaria and in Spain

- In this video we bring you a little piece of the town of Tejeda. It is located in the interior and heart of Gran Canaria at about 1000 meters of altitude. It stands out for its beautiful white houses and beautiful views of the Roque Bentayga, Roque Nublo and the Sacred Mountains of Gran Canaria. In Tejeda, you cannot miss a stop to eat Tejeda almond sweets such as the famous Canarian bienmesabe. Also, during the months of January and February you can see the almond trees that surround the town in bloom.

Thank you for the video. It looks nice there. We like hiking. We are planning to visit Tejeda in November - and stay there for a 3-4 days. Can you tell us what possibilities there are to get from there to the airport? I think it takes about one hour by taxi and more than two hours by bus. How much would cost a taxi from Tejeda to the airport?

We have never took a taxi from the airport to Tejeda haha so we can not tell you the exact price... I don't think it is more than 100€. You can go to Maspalomas by direct bus and then take another bus to Tejeda. There are also direct buses to Tejeda from San Mateo, but you have to go to Las Palmas first.
Don't you like driving? To rent a car is the best way to get to know Gran Canaria, public transport is not good to discover the island... only to get you the main cities / villages.

Hi Alex, here you can check the different buses on the island. That is the bus number 18.

In the same way, I don't know the taxi cost, because I have never made that trip by taxi... But might be around 100€
