Once, when my Ego briefly dissolved, what was left (a very different me) had NO questions or any NEED to understand or GET anything! The interviewer nailed it - the personal turns impersonal is what's called the ego death. Very nicely put. We have the sense of being a person all the time. This is just a concept we hold in our minds unconsciously. Its an idea we don't want to let go. When it let it go permanently, we are free!
I looked for advice, I found it. Now I put down my smart phone and ask the universe to reveal my higher purpose to my subconscious, I pray that I speak from heart and just observe with mind. Riding the wave of love right into dream land . . . .
Happiness comes from the ego being pampered, whereas sadness comes from these conditionings (superego) but it's the Spirit that gives us the JOY, joy is a Singular! After Self Realisation our 'Attention' BECOMES enlightened by the Spirit, the Spirit comes into the Attention, THEN we become the Joyful 'witness'...., the witness of this ego and these conditionings, we no longer identity with them, we BECOME the Self, our true Self, the Spirit! This is our second birth! Where we Absolutely know God, we cannot know God without knowing the Self!
I've become a little caught up in "methods & techiques", yet I still have to go back to the Nondual teaching that "This is ALREADY IT & no teaching (carrot) is needed." 😅❤

I see we to be life. As life, we are an imperfect perfection. We are better today, that we were yesterday and not as we re going to be tomorrow. All life are cycles of life (auras). From the smallest vibration to the largest (universe). As each cycle expands from its contraction, it receives/shares the information of all cycles of life. This area of confluence is where the inefficiency is ('Ego'). A L L life has it. All life has all life doing e x a c t l y as they re meant to do, at the time and manner meant to be done. There is no blame, criticism, coulda/woulda/shoulda,.
well, people does not necessary feel good when they see Benjamin sign, unless they feel that they are perfect. He feels, good like he said, to doing that. same is with people who can love and share, they feels good, way more than those that receive. And there is no giving without receiving, so it always both sided, even if not personal.
"understanding" or awareness arrives via impact or abruptness in which the individuals saw life one way (they dont really see it they just are living) the realization is that they aren't - but life is! The other thing is that there are many different areas of one's authentic self. Example: Someone might have a thought that they want to take something without paying (temptation), but I have found that a much larger part of one's mind doesn't want to steal. So that wins out. It is when we suppress emotions that problems occur. This is why Christianity is a complete fail in this regard. Fighting emotions doesn't work. Working and flowing with them in a positive way does work.
Of course you can't kill the ego, because it is not real. It's just the identification with the thoughts and forgetting who you are. E G O = Egde God Out
