Nah. as Plips is a commander, He is the law and the lash. His men will die if he said they died. And 99.99% of all time I heard only him sent men to the frontline not sent them to died so I am sure that 90% or more casualties is *A PURE LIES* to me.
They know their place in this war. They fight on knowing how little their lives mean to their commanders, and that they will most likely die. That is true faith and courage.

You can fill almost the entire map with conscripts. I mean, sure, it took me like 5 minutes to kill a Chaos Lord, but spamming them faster than they get killed makes it almost (aaaalmost) a valid strategy.

If I was correct it was an actual quote (if somewhat altered) spoken by a Vostroyan Officer during a briefing to the "new recruits" in the IG novel "Commissar". It was a good pretty good read. It's a shame not a lot of people read the novels. To IG beginners, I would suggest you start with Glory Imperialis- An Imperial Guard Omnibus. Also I cannot stress enough that how good "Imperial Glory" is. Especially the ending, oh the ending.......

Guardsmen literally just embody the "If you got a problem throw more bodies at it." Mantra. With obviously the occasional Basilisk or Baneblade to boot.....

However many people you can count dead, there's always more enlisting every second of every day of every century. Flak armour is stupidly cheap to produce. Lasgun powerpacks are recharged by literally any current-bearing device. There are 400 quadrillion humans across the galaxy.
The Guard is my favourite never-ending crazy train of meat, flak and boom.
Simply get all your conscripts, reinforcement assist them all and send 400 screaming scrubs into the enemy base. Might not do much, but it will look amazing!
I just tend to use relic units mixed with airborne kasrkin veterans. Easy W.

the mod isn't a frame killer, it's the engine what kills the frames
the engine is not just old but it also was never meant to have so much stuff on screen at once and this mod does that and more

We need a remaster of the first series of Dawn of War ASAP
I would pay good money for a Dawn of War 1 remaster.
Better engine and high quality coding = ten times as many Xenos I can purge at once on screen.

@@Madheim777 Eh, I don't really think 2 added anything that 1 needs. It kind of did its own thing and most of its unique mechanics fit well for its smaller scale, but would just get cumbersome with the larger scale of the first game. The main mechanical improvements I'd want for a DoW 1 remaster would be better pathing and flying vehicles actually being able to traverse impassable terrain.

Given that some French regiments apparently had casualty rates greater than 100% in The Great War, this _is_ actually quite low, given that casualty percentage is usually based on regiment size.

@@hiban751 No, its because of 2 main reasons. One, they came out in the last and worst expansion for the game and sisters of battle have never been very popular to begin with in general.
