Nice video sir, I'm looking to replace the casing of my hp notebook 17-ca1205ng which is similar to what you're working on, could you please recommend any website that sell those online
I normally find my parts on ebay
awesome! new subscriber!
Thanks for the sub
If stuff is soldered into the board, could you replace the parts by soldering the old or bad parts out and repalce the old or bad with new ones? Like take for instance a processor or a GeForce chip. They are all sodered into the board right now. Are they different from what we have in desktops? If not, then I would have to rig a system together, develope a case and solder some parts together in order to have a laptop that could replace parts. Talk about a lot of work and a bigger laptop, but it would be cheaper then buying a laptop over 5 to 10 years.
yes you can do so but the skill level to do so is very high level. You will need a soldering class and also access to the schematics of the motherboard as well as under stand how to read the schematics
1:44 how real professionals unplug th HDD 😂
You was waiting on a playa to mess up lol. You got it!
Can you do apple next?
Only if you promise to subscribe to the channel
What do you if some if the space bar refused working even when you change a new keyboard it still fails to work
Be careful when dealing with keyboard it underneath all those internal parts
Noir man with noir knowledge of laps tops
Hi, could you not desolate and remove a faulty USB socket rather than replace the whole board?
If you are comfortable with soldering you can replace components on the board and not replace the whole motherboard yes
I have seen Mac internal hardware and I have opened a acer windows laptop and also opened Chromebook I can confirm you don’t have to replace a board on desktop but on a windows laptop the usb socket is directly connected to the motherboard board no separate wires
yes you can. in fact most parts on the board can be replaced. but it will be based on the skill of the person working on it. if your not skilled at doing it then i dont think anyone would recommend you do it. you would also need the right tools to do a good job which can be expensive.
@@cptrush3671 ya so I would recommend replacing the whole board if your doing yourself but you could spend money on someone to do it for you to replace those components
@@Bradleyncmod myself i will replace the component. i work on computers. so i have the skills and tools. but for beginners i agree they should choose another method.
you're doing nice bro
Appreciate it
Heat sink of my Lenovo IdeaPad 3 is burnt but laptop is still working, but sometimes it just shut down. Will they need to remove the whole motherboard to fix it? And will they also have to replace a fan or the hit sink goes separately. Please help.
It may be possible to lift the heat sink clean and add more thermal paste and see if the problem still occurs
@@dmvcomputerman Thank you very much. I will try that.
I need to experts in computer hard ware
very helpful for boys like me
can u tell us where's the gpu please ?
Depends on the specific laptop. Most laptops have integrated graphics. That means the graphics chip is built-into the CPU. Some mid to high end laptops, especially gaming laptops and workstation laptops do have a GPU. Most of them are soldered onto the motherboard just like the CPU. If you know what the CPU of a laptop looks like, the GPU will look very similar.

nice intro
My laptop screen couldn’t display yet the screen woorks on another laptop what could be the problem, the laptop is woorking though
Mine does same, but it's just the light on the screen that doesn't display, when you point in a torchlight to the screen you could see that it displays
Why there is no power supply in laptop.
There is it’s just not called the power supply its called a charger port
I want to do this for a living. Where do I start?
I will recommend taking classes finding a internship or a mentorship
thanks, but where is the gpu
unless the laptop is a gaming laptop or one with a serious gpu the gpu is just a small chip and will not be located because its not a interchangeable part
Isn't this knowledge somewhat only usable to those with this type of latop or similar
Not at all once you can identify common parts you can identify them no matter the laptop. Apple will be different but windows laptops are mostly the same
Tenki
Give me one 8 gb ram,DDR3 pls pls my laptop is 4gb ram please❤❤❤❤
Two of my HDD are bad, the laptop can't read or write in them.
It could possibly be the hdd cable or connector as well
Watching on mobile. Cant see a fuckin thing at all 💀
Nice video
Thanks
