Being materialistic does not affect Allah at all.
@@mekamom3676 nothing affect Allah. Even if the whole world doesnt believe, it will not lessen Allah a bit. But being materialistic does affect us. Thats why we shouldnt be materialistic. By saying that, dont confuse materialistic with being rich. You can be rich, just dont be materialistic.

Muslim does not do metrialistic stuff that much but we can do martrial arts only for defend ourself

Gulf Arabs definitely not a good example of Muslims then.

Women had right to own property and sell from the time Islam was introduced 1400 years ago.
This right was fought for and earned in the West in 1960s.
According to Islamic Law, women's consent is essential in marriage, which is a contract and not a life-long sacrament. In which they can stipulate conditions and have a right to divorce.
Women have a superiority right of custody for children under 2 over the fathers, she's entitled to alimony after marriage. She has a right to divorce if the husband doesn't provide maintainance. She has a right to receive inheritance from her father, maintainance from her husband and also her son if she has one. She is not obliged to give away or spend any portion of her wealth upon anyone by Islamic law. This is only applicable to the men, which is why the man has a larger right to inheritance than a woman since he is obliged to pay a portion of his wealth to his mother, wife, daughters and other family members.
Woman has a right to inheritance.
Woman has a *right* to acquire education.etc
Where these rights are features of of a modern-day egalitarian society

Why it is only 5 minutes? This convertion story is kind of the most emotional one. I can take some time to sit, listen and watch it even the story takes one hour even more. I loved it, really.

My parents are both catholic and Mexican as well and I feel her pain of feeling these ‘holes’ and asking the same questions. But my parents think I can’t ‘choose’ yet because of my age being 17, but I want to convert so badly. I even bought the Qur’an. Which was later put on top of a locked shelf. I cried but I knew I couldn’t go against my mother. But I want to learn so bad, I want to know and read, but I’m just hiding and reading the Qur’an or watching converting videos at 12 AM. I feel boxed in.

If you believe in one God and Prophet Muhammad as the last messenger sent by God to humanity, then you are already Muslim. You are already Muslim because you believe it in your heart. Keep doing what you are doing. There are people who keep their Islam secret because of family, society, etc and there's nothing wrong with that. Allah knows what's in our hearts. Islam is the religion of purity.islam explains about every prophet and believes in them. Every person in the world is full of curiosity to find what they believe in and what may be the actual truth . Everyone should read holy books I bet u wouldnt find anything lyk quran.
So just think about the creator who filled u with curiosity. Nobody wants to die non believer and not having eternal peace of their soul.
May Allah make easy for you and soften your parents heart on you.
Perhaps you could be the reason to enter them in Islam.
Allah help u can reading and learn inshallah
maybe your parents will become upset and angry for a short time, but I am sure things will get better when they see how their beloved daughter will treat them after becoming a muslim. May Allah help you.

Kapeesh Pandey .Kapeesh Panday, I just saw this video. Has some one helped you yet. Go on to the Islamic websites, get a a copy of the Quran in English with explanation, or go to any Mosque and ask the Imam to help. Read about it, understand and then accept Islam.

I’m a convert but I was afraid to come out to my family about it and I finally did this year. they did exactly what I was afraid of they disowned me I have no regrets about being Muslim because I have a something better and stronger.
