How would he not agree with “that the CIA has kept a tight grip on media” when literally 5 minutes previously he said the current head National Security Reporter at Washington Post is the former Washington DC CIA bureau chief?
While contemplating the Alphabet agencies influence on main Street media, there is one question that should be asked. In the last 55 years, (1969) how many instances have the main Street media run a story connecting the CIA to committed crimes? I can only think of a few, and the media labeled people connecting crimes and the CIA as conspiracy theorists and publicly shamed Americans for questioning tactics and techniques that were being deployed.
To argue the contrary, basically says the military industrial complex power is exaggerated by us nervous conspiracy theorist Americans.
Love the show, BRAVO!
Lol just wait until you all realize the CIA fully orchestrated the event that gave them sweeping powers 😅

CIA was formed and given its main legal loophole after the Roswell incident. The Patriot Act just legalizes a lot of this activity so that non-CIA agencies can also take part
His insights into Delta force are truly incredible and 100% legit
That guy speaks like Mike Baker, still on the books.
From when we reported it... That's the difference between average and a master because a master uses time to advantage. A regular person looks at time as a probiem
When i signed up wanting to be a ranger, i was told there's a think line between a phsycopath, a criminal, and an operator
Ya think?
Just be both psycho/operator. I've heard that many ppl apply for these special units, not knowing the type of ppl they'll work with. I'm on the same boat and training for rangers .
@Soufbuns1103 if civil disobedience Makes me a criminal, than I guess so be it. That's as far as I go tho
Just imagine the type of person, born in Pakistan who signs up to fight against you. If you are unable to overcome the programming from where you were born, you are just like them. Sad really.
Obviously.. by your spelling and syntax.. your a 'bit'.. off 🤨
Danny needs to stop interrupting the guy.
The man needs to be interrupted. His arguments are not sound.
Danny needs a brain transplant. He doesn’t know the most basic shit half the time.
“What’s an irrigation canal? Durrr”
Great episode!
My wife is kenyan.. Luo tribe.. and I can say... 60,000 USD is like winning the lotto for a kenyan.
When it becomes a competition for who educates the best; secrets have less utility.
Once we can accept americans can use power internationally without being called a nazi is an eqsy fist step no...
How can anyone talk so much and say so little? Jeezus dude, make your point.
He said " Knuckle dragger"
Crimminality can not be used as an effective means of labeling people untill the criminal justive system is fixed
It will never be fixed, but hopefully if Americans ban together and vote out the current criminals in our government, it can be more just.
His books are world class all time greats
Danny Jones and joe rogan are my favorite podcasts.
It's only a war crime the first time...
Spit it out dude , damn
His ideas around selection are spot on, but people forget . . . Selection is just to earn a seat in the operator training course where they go upwards of 6 months (Army) to 9 months (Navy/Aif Force). So a.guy that makes it through both selection and OTC, and then has a moral/ethical issue later on could also be a.dirrct reflection of the culture of the unit. The most ethical human thrown into a culture of "look the other way" is bound to dip a.toe in the unethical waters if they stay there long enough.
You can keep the notion of method just not attachment tona particular one...
I have a request. Could you talk about Haim Eshed comments referencing Americas connection to a ET presence. I thought it interesting and wondered if the General had any alterior motivation for his comments. Other than possibly clearing his conscience, or pointing people down the wrong pathway.
They need to declassified the 9/11 files
This guy said nothing worthwhile. What a waste of time.
The gang of 8…i mean they said it not me!
Dude needs some bodyguards... You can tell it's his job to tell stories, some of the stories he will tell are not to be told and he doesn't look like the type to handle himself
Who is Danny Jones?? Seems to have some decent guests
While he goes on about the highly selective SF community I want to point out with peacetime United States SF, they are going to copy what the British Army does, which is augment smaller SF teams with NON SF personnel.
For example, if they need someone to hack a computer, they will get the technical knowhow from an Air Force cyber warfare expert or they need someone who specializes in drones etc. My point is what we think of as traditional special forces skills are no longer relevant in modern warfare as they were in the past.
vitamins, it'll help you find ur words lol
Are contractors considered civilian or military targets?
Neither. They are considered mercenaries and if caught on the battlefield, they're not protected as prisoners of war. Which is a scary place to find oneself.
@@MichaelJohnson-bw4ssthey know what they signed up for as soon as they accept payment
Work means editing...or censored
Achilles
Don't take my word for it... just ask Shawn Ryan ???
The chinesse will be suprised how fast the american public can be brought up to speed
The us will never have a problem fielding a military. This has always been a topic of discussion since the Vietnam war.
I love it when men that never picked up a weapon come to criticize men who do.
I’m sure the selection process for extremist organizations are rigorous and they don’t select any “blood thirsty men”
It’s this exact mentality that these organizations take advantage of.
The problem wasn’t the selection process. The problem was the length of time fighting. Special operations never took into account spec ops soldiers in perpetual combat for over 10 years.
I know this man has spent a lot of time in country and written several books. But this just smells like propaganda. Just my opinion.
It's not a question of can the US solicit or draft replacements. It's a question of what percentage of Generation z can complete basics. The Pentagon already came up with a percentage, they're going with plan B. Calling all veterans, have we got a DEAL for you.
Came looking for this comment. I thought it was just me that he doesn’t seem truthful.
If we have Seals or Delta over in Israel. It's in an advisor role to mission plan recovery of hostages. Israel is fully capable and have high level operators to carry out any mission
JSOC trying to muscle itself into any situation even if has no need to do so.
Bro, you don't get to Seal team six, unless you are the top .001%. they spend 2 to 3 years in training and live their job. They are not blood thirsty. They are Hammers looking for nails.
Danny:mentions something *some shit he did in MGSV*
Expert: No. That's not the best way to go about it. *trying not to laugh at him*
6:50
Drink every time he says uhh.
Danny couldn’t muster the class to manage a conversation with a serious man.
A serious man who has blinders on.
By the time this dude gets a paragraph off. I could see two more episodes lol just kidding.
Less Mary Jane and more clarity is a choice Danny 😜
uhhhhh...
No ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO KILL ANYONE
Sounds like quit the story
Horse puckey!
THE US MILITARY 🪖 IS NOT A THREAT TO OTHER POWERFUL NATIONS...MAYBE SMALL COUNTRIES LIKE IRAQ .. SAUDI ARABIA EXT.
😂 😂 😂 😂 good one 👍
I get anxiety listening to this guy talk. Why is it so many good writers are horrible speakers.
Feel bad for the journalist. He came for an intelligent discussion and got whatever the hell this is.
If you’re going to bring on a serious guest? On serious topics? Lock it up and generate an actual intelligent discussion, “a knuckle dragging blood thirsty mercenary”? I gave it five more minutes and had to exit out.
devgru didn't hit bin laden. sfod did. seals just took credit for it. this happened a LOT during the war on terrorism. if you know an 11b dude that did any work with sof, ask them, they'll tell you
it's one of the things that sort of hurt the reputation of seals in the community, the fact they kept getting credit for operations they had nothing to do with. a friend that ran humint for an sfod team told me that during oif and oef this was pretty common. one of the reasons is because sfod is off the books and didn't officially exist at the time
I find that difficult to believe. The Pentagon went after Matt Bissonnette for revealing classified details of the mission in his book "No Easy Day". Bissonnette was Devgru. He was on the mission.
Never believe what the Government tells you.
It was red squadron DEVGRU, wasn’t CAG. Afghanistan was the SEALs AO, and the General that ordered the mission was former commander in DEVGRU.
C'mon Danny, this isn't intelligent combat discussion, really shows a lack of understanding on your part. And the reporter is thinking, ok I'll go down this odd train of thought with you, i Guess...
Dude look how much dannys views have gone down even this video 33k in a week?! Shadow banned. Cmon CZcams…
Danny learn to read the room.
Wow this is getting hidden HARD
Just kidding. Thought I clicked on a whole podcast 😂
Pacifist 😪

This guys lack of knowledge on the subject is amazing
This is the most boringest episode yet ur guest takes 30 minutes to explain something that takes 10 seconds to explain
This guy sounds like hew speaking out of his ass the entire episode
Danny "Lets get to the MF'n interview" Jones got the best intro in the game 🎮 🏑
