I love how you style outfits that objectively look cool from an artistic standpoint and don't just stick to the newest trends.
A major part of why overconsumption is a thing is the mindset of sticking to the newest thing and immediately disregarding all the previous ones as cringy. Especially sad considering that all fashions do come back at one point, and people buy the same clothes all over again, because they threw out their perfectly OK ones before when they became "outdated". I still own pieces that I bought 10 years ago, and I wear them with pride. I love that your outfit ideas have that 00's - early 2010's glam vibe to them, as a 00's kid it's very dear to my heart and it gives me so many ideas how else to style things I've owned forever. Thank you!

Time flies. I was actually old enough to watch that movie when it first came out in '99.
To me, the look is absolutely iconic, of course.
I have an old striped baby T that my Mom made and wore back in the '70's. I started wearing it in high school and if it weren't falling apart, I'd still be wearing it today. Even my teenage niece has tried liberating it from me (and thankfully failed!)
Yeah, I hate my mother for adopting this mindset. She says, "I agree with you but the people at the gathering will make fun of us if we wear something so old fashioned."
I still have clothes from the 90s that I wear and don't have a single problem with wearing them still. It doesn't mean that I don't have new things but I also try to mix up what I wear and keep my clothing in good shape. Yes, there are a few things that I wear more than others, at certain times, so I wear them out faster but I honestly subscribe to the idea that if it fits you and makes you feel good, then you should wear whatever you want to wear regardless of what society or anyone else says about it! I will also say I'm 55 and I didn't quite have this bravery when I was in my 20s...so you do what makes you feel comfortable. I truly think that's one of the biggest keys to feeling beautiful! If you want to wear a mini skirt with a cropped tee and you feel good in it, then don't let anyone tell you that you shouldn't for any reason (whether it's size, age or anything else silly they can come up with to try to make you feel inferior)!
Can you tell that I was told most of my life that I couldn't wear this or that because of my size or my age? I finally broke out of that box and said I don't care what you think I shouldn't wear! I like this, it makes me feel pretty and I'm wearing it! 😜
So, you do you and be the beautiful woman you are and tell anyone that doesn't like what you're wearing (as long as you do) that they no longer get a say in it because you look gorgeous and that's not what's changing! 🔥

I wish my size wouldn't keep on fluctuating. I have given away a lot of things because my size (basically my chest and hip measurements, they just don't plateaue) keep on increasing little by little ever since I entered my twenties. I've made peace with buying things a size up now. It won't fit perfectly right now, but I'll be able to use it for longer at least. It has cost me a lot of money because everytime I would think that now my boobs and butt have plateaued, but nah a year later they would increase in size. 😢

I absolutely loved that little cape with the beautiful broach closure! I think seeing your cat in the cape was my absolute favorite part of this video and I loved a lot about this one! Honestly, in all my born days - and I'm 65, so there've been a few of them - I've never seen a shiny black outfit that I've liked, but today you've done it! Having to choose I'd pick the one with the tube top and heels, but the entire vid is top notch, the dress (and the dress be becoming a top 😳🤔😂) included. Fur babies ALWAYS touch my heart!
