My iPad won’t work in studio,so had to remember what your instruction was. With gay abandon,I created two tree outlines, and then forgot the trunks where the white part, yikes,Here’s me adding branches into thin air! Never mind,I’m learning as I go,me and the dog, covers in paint!

I'll be honest with you, since well im essentially anonymous. I've been awfully depressed for many years now. Gave up on art back in highschool in pursuit of a finance degree to of course put food on the table and because it was a much more stable path. After college I kind of picked painting back up but only painting model soldiers and other war machines. But after discovering your channel I've found myself putting paint on canvas again and where I once was so frustrated with imperfection I have suddenly become much better and enjoying myself again. I dont plan anything I just mix up a color I find pretty and let the picture make itself. I can't say I feel much better in fact I'm worse than ever but I can say painting is keeping me grounded and I appreciate these videos if for nothing but else but keeping me alive.

I love watching you paint, and how you totally go for effects, not objects! Plus your commentary is quite entertaining. "I don't swim, so don't suggest that you will teach me" made me laugh out loud as I have been through similar teachings with an "expert". It's not about technique, it's fear, and you've had a brush with drowning, I've had several. So I totally get what you're saying and totally relate. Back to painting. You literally just put whatever comes into your head onto the surface and play with it. LOVE it!! You go for the surprise of the effect and if you like it, you keep it, if not, you play with it some more until you get the effect that you want. Thank you so much, truly appreciate your videos!

I started painting only a year ago during the lockdown and I am still doing my beginners stuff with acrylic. However I love watching your video‘s no matter how long they are :-) . I think I learned already a lot, and maybe, some day, I dare to try oil.... Please keep on painting and making those awesome video‘s!

Another very enjoyable video! I simply find it fascinating, the illusion of detail.
I am yet waiting for your sequel novel too.

So good to come back to your wonderful video lessons.
I love your humble modesty , your sense of humor and way of teaching. At the end i heard you say you are a vegan , it confirms my feelings of admiration for the person you are.
I could hear the compassion in your voice before even knowing . Thank you for being who you are .
