Thanks for telling us about the factory 2nds! Yesterday a 55lb Kodiak Magnum showed at my door, for $350 landed! Can't find the blemish and it shoots nicely!
I do have to agree there strings are pretty week for the price on their bows. I think the blister was do too over pounding your self, thank you sir for your review. Take care my friend God Bless.
I too am a major Bear bow fan. Own a 1964 Grizzly, 59 Kodiak, Montana and AuSable. Favorite is the Kodiak followed by my vintage Grizzly. Then AuSable. Montana is low bow on the totem pole. Just not as smooth as the others.
I would have to say it is very close, I have to find me a 50 pound version of the bow first before I can decide if I like it better than my Montana...Thanks for watching.
