Ultron was on the internet for all but 5 minutes and already decided humanity has to go
Honestly, I can't blame the guy.
He could have looked deeper with all of the chaos on the internet. He found a group of people who controlled everything behind the scenes, and he would realize the American system is purposely broken and the public doesn't know what is going on around the world. He would mention 9/11 attack.
He would go after the governments. He knows that the people are complex, though he would that we been taught this way from birth. He is probably going after North korea to free the citizens.
One of the most underrated villains in the MCU. James Spader knocked it out if the park with his snarky, scary, & tragic performance
This Ultron is like Sauron. He saw himself as a savior, as THE hero and everyone in his way are unworthy, is like an anti-villain. Ultron doesn't want to destroy all life for peace, only humanity that's different !
And what happen in « What If » is clearly not the Ultron from the movie, the writers of the show didn’t understood this character at all

Ultron did have some good points, unless humans go into space pretty soon they will likely go extinct.
Another immortal being that has a more tragic backstory and i think would be interesting to see a video on is King Andrias. Especially considering that much like how the star of this video is a reflection of Tony, Andrias reflects Anne.
MCU version of Ultron should’ve been more like Agent Smith. A sentient artificial intelligence who has nothing but contempt for humanity and views it as a disease and needs to purge it from the planet. More specifically Ultron’s demeanor should’ve been more like Smith. How Smith embraced pure nihilism and all life (human & machine) need to end made him terrifying. The Ultron from Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes animated series is the best iteration of the villain.
True, that’s a great point. Reminds me of how animated Venom from the 90s series was so much better than any live action versions.

I like that he’s more human, it shows how ironic he is
Greatest MCU villain. I genuinely love that he is completely misunderstood as being inherently evil; most people literally cannot understand Ultron - he still followed his prime directive, but like any fictional AI, he created a set of values separate from humanity's. He has the morality and self-confidence of a child... but he's not just some edgelord as certain MCU fans would like. I like that. Don't get me wrong, Thanos is fantastic, but I have Ultron above him because as powerful as Thanos was he had absolutely no right to be that stupid.
Ultron would be the experiment that decided we ether live in a dune world or a 40k world.

I don't read the comics, but what I read on a wiki page seems to show that Ultron in the comics has many references to Oedipus: the most obvious being how he created a robot called Jocasta from the mind of Janet Van Dyne; the woman who eventually became Ultron's creator's ex-wife.

Tony's plan to end the avengers and replace them with a robot was a selfish goal and glad it didn't work. The Avengers will always be needed no matter what.
Not consulting them about Ultron was very inconsiderate of him.
Tony's greatest enemy was himself.
Yeah. If Tony does return to the MCU, they should pit him against Superior Iron Man(Tom Cruise). That way, Tony would finally get his ego in check after fighting his evil alternate counterpart.
