Agreed. I had never heard of her either. 90 % of the time I do not know who the judge a guesses are. But I took their guesses and researched who this could be. Her body language gave her away immediately. I am happily hooked.

Shows 9 sesons old, wtf you mean she changed the show, she wasn't even great. Exactly, was gorrible screaming, she did power ballads & didn't bring it once, was a fair few off key moments, like when I was 14yo. There's good howling, this wasn't it..wors winner of all the ones I've known

I first watched macaw's performances and thought he was robbed but after watching this, it all makes sense. She truly deserved to win. Majority of the songs she performed were of difficult level, and to those easy songs she picked, she transformed them into grand finale pieces.
Don't know why people thought this was rigged when she won. She may not have the best voice compared to Pentatonix, but the difference is that every performance was like watching a live concert. Everyone else just sings a song, she performs it.

I saw her for the first time before the pandemic at a small venue in Houston. Been a huge fan ever since. I would have recognized that voice right away - so awesomely distinctive.

She went from the beginning of the season to being eliminated week 3 only to be saved and then won the season. I think she’s the only contestant to sing that many performances and win. She’s amazing and deserved to win!

I’ve been a fan of bishop for a while now and I didn’t watch the show but when I heard she was on it I raced over to watch and omg she was amazing. Also so proud of David Archie he’s a huge inspiration to me because I like him grew up in the Mormon church being different and feeling like I should end my life because I wasn’t perfect or felt I wasn’t. 🥹

I’ve been a fan of bishop for a while now and I didn’t watch the show but when I heard she was on it I raced over to watch and omg she was amazing. Also so proud of David Archie he’s a huge inspiration to me because I like him grew up in the Mormon church being different and feeling like I should end my life because I wasn’t perfect or felt I wasn’t. 🥹
I'm more impressed with the fact that the background dancers can dance with a frickin' mask on their faces and not bang on each other or mess up their moves
