My wife's family is from Cronulla (the Little's). From the stories her family told me it was a great place to live.

That trampoline is the only thing that's level in that backyard and I think the angle makes the shot.

@@ramdarook I'm pretty sure we had crossed paths, Ross. For a while in the late 90's and early 00's, I was having a lot of 35mm film processed - just shots of sand mining/land filling... and other horrible crap going on at Kurnell. The wide panorama strips made up from multiple single shots taped together served their purpose.
I moved outa Cronulla 2006. Bumped into Mal on a visit back there around 6years later when he was outa that crazy game.... had a nice brief chat despite previous differences - It was never personal... only ideological.
These films of Cronulla et al. bring back memories of growing up in the 70's - In 71 I'd started the 6 years at Cronulla HS.
Can't say I'm impressed with what I've seen of Cronulla from a few visits since moving away. Every prediction of what was to come I'd made when leaving came true.. the theme being Surface Parasites.
Only one old art deco building along Ozone Street overlooking Bate Bay still stood last visit... perhaps gone or soon.
