Chargers were the most exciting team of the 80’s and it equaled to zero success because their D was yearly one of the worst. Jim will have a great defensive team and a great O that will wear you down.

The Chargers under Ross and Schottenheimer were NOT "finesse" teams. Coincidentally, Ross never had a losing season and took them to the SB once; Schottenheimer only had one losing season in 5. But, yes...the bulk of their teams emphasized speed, not power..

Cowherd likes the Chargers, Herbert and Harbaugh so Im not sure what he's talking about. This was a great draft. They filled every position that needed to be addressed and got some incredible value late.
If you were in a bar with these two it would take about 10 minutes to walk away
His game is exactly like Wes Welker, Julian Edelman, Ryan Tanehill pre position change, Steve Largent, Eric Decker, Jordy Nelson, Hunter Renfroe, Ed McCaffrey, Brandon Stokley, Dwight Clark and Lance Alworth obviously! I really love how much work these media guys do to make useful player comps.

Haha Clickbait headline, but I agree with just about all of this as a Chargers fan. The more pieces we see drop into place the more I see the vision of what Jim Harbaugh wants the Chargers to be. And honestly, this team needed to ripped down to the foundation and built back up after Telesco and Staley ruined them. I'm happy to just enjoy the ride.
I prefer pundits claiming the draft was boring over them saying we won the offseason. Every time the chargers are deemed “offseason winners”, they end up watching the playoffs from home.

@@stevencole7331 that’s true but fixing the O line was more important than a TE. Alt is one of the highest graded offensive lineman and 6’9 315 pound tackles that agile are like unicorns. We have 4 TEs and they just signed a monster UDFA yesterday who may work out as well. I wouldn’t mind seeing what John for Isiah Likely either

Boring? That was the best draft they've had since AJ Smith era. Telesco was the worst GM in this franchise's history. Any good draft pick he made fell in his lap. Everything else was bad. Hortiz absolutely killed every pic! Thank God this franchise finally made some good decisions

Should have taken nabers then the right tackle that the ravens got got later. His way didn’t work in the nfl. They got somewhere early on because of that crazy good defense and the read option took everyone by surprise those first two seasons. Then the team quickly went downhill. And how long did it take him to win something at Michigan? So all of those years a coaching in the nfl and college, and he’s got 1 national champ and that’s it. Even though he has his tough guys in the trenches with the niners. And how were they beat? The ravens had speed and some guys to throw it up to. They weren’t able to hang with the explosiveness. So yet he sticks with the same thing. Need those fast game changers, especially when you don’t have a defense. Disappointed by everything harbaugh so far.

Losses. Over and over. Hortiz and Harbaugh went in the draft and tackled almost every position they really needed and built depth. Was it boring? I certainly hope so because we’ve been getting the opposite and losing. This draft was all veggies
