- "It just works"... mostly! I had to use "-noqt -usevgui" to fix the viewport flickering. (This didn't actually change the UI, somehow.) The error behind the Engineer might be caused by one of the 200-or-so models from the Steam Workshop I had to grab while working on that one video segment for hbomberguy a couple years ago, but I'm not sure. Speaking of which, you won't see any pop-ups when running from the main Deck UI, so it will appear as if the program has frozen, but that's because you can't see the box that asks you if you want to download your Workshop subscriptions. So run the thing in Desktop mode first. (Well, you should do that anyway.)

This thing probably has more powerful hardware than my computer did when sfm came out.

Finally, I can now get frustrated by random crashes while animating on the go!
Finally I can spend hours of work only for the document could not save because there was an error writing the file error to show up
I thought it was a meme video but holy shit, last time I used SFM it was still super unstable, are you sure your Steam Deck isn't gonna explode

Blender is on Steam as well, I'm curious how the Steam deck handles that?
As good as any decent pc with linux because blender runs natively an even faster than windows, but of course a monitor will be recommended
its great, i made a couple renders for a meme, and it handled better than my pc.

My SFM seems to crash every time I open it on my deck
Now I can animate Heavy doing funny things on the go!
