It’s important to note that jobs that pay under $60k may not be able to support you living independently and doing a glow up journey. It’s would be cool to see you do a video on feminine and ambitious careers❤️
That salary could support Independent Living if you are flexible about what you were looking for and the location. A studio in a small to mid-size city or town should be okay for a single person making $60,000 a year or less. You can also save money by learning to do some of the "glow up" activities yourself. Many self-care and restorative activities are cheap/free, like going for walks, reading (if you have access to a local library), and meditation. You can also use CZcams for free yoga or other workout videos.
@@jennifernabrahamable I agree but cost of living varies across the US and inflation is very bad. If you have to pay for nice hair, makeup, new clothes, therapy, and travel then 60k or less may not be enough

Most of what you see is filters, and a lot of these "glowed up" perfect-looking, always traveling to exotic and luxurious locations girlies are not financially stable and/or depend on convincing you to buy what they're showing to fund their lifestyle. Ladies, don’t be fooled by joint account. It takes 20 seconds to wire the money elsewhere. Just because the money is there today, it does not mean that he won’t transfer it elsewhere in case changes his mind. For sure, you might get at court, but usually only after years of fights, if ever.
Joint account means equal ownership so whether it’s “your” money and the account is is joint this translates to “everyone’s” money with equal spending rights

An owner can drain the account without the other’s permission. An owner can wire without permission. An owner can close the account without the others permission. The only thing someone can’t do is cash a check if it’s made out to both parties. It must say owner A AND owner b, if the check reads owner A OR owner b, then either party can cash it
Also relationship changes cannot be made without both party’s permission. But a wire can definitely be made. And then they would have to fight in court over the dispute bc the bank is not liable.

Based on this video, if I were to change or explore, I would pick being an EA, image consultant, software tester, therapist, and a self-employed youth lead organizer to help young people develop in their careers. I would love to expand this globally.

I am an EA and it pays well. It depends on the type of the org you work with it. It’s a tad bit stressful though I am also an independent youth advisor cos that’s my passion so Yh those choices you made are good. I am thinking of getting into PR, media and image consulting as an entrepreneur but I know it would take a while before I make money from it I’ve also been through a lot of trauma and come out at the other end so being a therapist will be a choice too Unfortunately I have yet to meet a man I like that can hold the other end of the fort
That's not entirely true. SAHM is low stress based on parental, religious, and culture beliefs. You can check the statistics and studies. My mom was a SAHM and she was able to grow her business from home without fear and bring income in while caring for my siblings and being home. We were poor. You don't have to be wealthy!❤
Working as an EA was the worst experience of my life! If you’re working for someone as a PA or EA especially in this part of the world where I live, your life is no longer yours, you live for them. If your boss has a good heart, you are well on your way to greatness. If not?! You are done for! They would use you and drain you. I had bad anxiety, insomnia and bad health for the period of time I worked there but as soon as I left I could sleep.
for stay at home moms please have a legal agreement that on divorce you will be receiving x amount and have it scale, do not devout your life to raising a child and getting left with nothing if you divorce

I used to be a personal assistant. I have a retail management background, so that may have gained me some experience and perspective. To answer your question it really depends on where you live who you’re working for and the culture and environment that their cultivating and also the type of business that they ran.the man I work for owned a few businesses so I just helped him with his clients telling social media management and business protocol.
I wouldn’t say I had to kiss ass, but there is a certain level of respect and depending on the type of assistant that you are IE fashion or something in a superficial realm you probably will because it’s more about who you know. But if you’re working with corporate People I feel like the experience will be different
And please know you can get in those spaces with a positive mind and also having a willingness to learn,( experience matters too ,but aren’t limited to ) and being able to articulate yourself. Being black being darker skin doesn’t hold you back as much as you think. ( I’m a darker brown girl ) It’s always a mental block that makes it seem a lot worse than what it is. I’m an EA and it’s a great profession! And you are paid pretty well! Depending on your experience and where you live you can up 150k - 175k, at this pay point it would probably be stressful though.

As a Certified Doula I strongly encourage women who are considering being a doula or working in birthwork to build their village of other birthworkers who can support you as well, burnout is real and you dont want to have this spark to support others and not enough for yourself especially when being a doula you are putting others before yourself. It really takes a village to support just one person.

That's the same for just about any job you go to. I got fired from a job I worked on and qualified for benefits, but they fired me before I could claim them. I didn't have a back up plan, but thankfully I lived with my family, and that gave me time to look for work else where. With everything, you need to plan in advance. Even if you work at a fast food place, they have the right to fire you without letting you know in advance. If you want to be a SAHM. You need to plan. Date men selectively, read on ROH benefits for marriage, and prenup agreements and have it stated in your marriage contract that if divorce happens, that you're entitled to a selected amount of money, aswell as your kids. Also, begin now while your single brining in passive income(sell stuff) and put the into your private savings and physical savings. You can also ensure if you're raising kids to have them homeschooled to qualify for homeschool benefits aswell as have them have a small part time job by 14-16 years of age.
Im a Business Analyst and being a BA is a hard job and it is stressful to work in Tech. They want everything for yesterday and you need to be learning constantly. Specially if you dont want people to sell you BS. Just saying. Think it twice lol
Where there are other people involved- results differ. For example, FA's can go through a calm day with only two short flights _or_ a stressful day with one flight that delays by so many hours that people start shouting (*eta:) at the FA-I have seen this (ignoring that *factors such as feul availability, weather and whatnot, contribute to a delay and frankly an FA can't _control_ those things??)😮 But this video series is great because I think it brings up lines of work people aren't always readily aware of. But remember, work is work and financial insecurity can find you in any line of work because life is so expensive. Don't beat yourself up for being stressed by a job because NONE of them are fun. Respectfully.
I think stay at home mom who don’t have to work outside the home keep the home running smoothly. Unless you can pay for outside help, you should be caring for the children and tending to the home. Now if your husband can afford to pay housekeepers and chefs to help in the home, your husband and family will expect that you will handle those things.

The government or state depending on where you live. The husband aswell depending how the marriage contract is set up. The husband pays for his wife labor at home that he or she would have otherwise payed someone else to do. He works so she stays home. If he doesn’t work, she’s not obligated to be home.
Im sure most women would love to be a stay at home mom given the choice. I also disagree with cooking and cleaning not being a part of the "job". If my husband were making in the mid 6 figures I would gladly cook, clean, and take care of the children I mean that's the least I could do, and I would do it with a smile on my face. Unfortunately tho this "job" option comes far and few in between. It should not be on the list tho bc not everyone is even a candidate for marriage, or to bare children.....

My mother was a SAHM and many times had to work outside the home because money was low. She hated it! Going home was her break. Being home gave her the flexibility to get her degree, grow her writing skills as a freelance writer, and learn what she wanted in life, because she set the pace at home. Statistics also show this depending on the religion, culture, and parental style that SAHM have lower stress.

No, it"s a paying career. Depending on what city or state you live in. The government or state pays the mother to be at home. Secondly, in the marital contract it can be implemented to recieve money from the husband yearly or monthly. Lastly, the wifes labour at home(childcare, cleaning, budgeting, cooking, etc.)is paid for by the husband labour outside the home. In simple terms. The husband works, so his wife can stay home to do the labour that he and she would pay someone else to do if she wasn't home. This saves money for both couples and helps in better mental health in children. The wife if she chooses may also start a business from home, work remotely, or do small part time shifts on the side. these jobs are great but being a sales rep can bring in 500k a year and even though its stressful it helps u build a high profile clientbase and then u can start a low-stress business that lets you travel after like 10 years in the job and then no stress!!

I’m here looking at alternatives jobs (skills and knowledge I can focus on while in corporate America) as I transition out slowly from corporate America to a more slow and less stressful job that I enjoy work (time, people, the autonomy to say I can leave)
As the woman commented, I agree that anything in marketing (including UX and social media) is going to be stressful in most situations that pay enough to survive. Also $35K is not enough to survive on but I am like in these videos. Not complaining, just reality

As a Certified Doula I strongly encourage women who are considering being a doula or working in birthwork to build their village of other birthworkers who can support you as well, burnout is real and you dont want to have this spark to support others and not enough for yourself especially when being a doula you are putting others before yourself. It really takes a village to support just one person.

That's the same for just about any job you go to. I got fired from a job I worked on and qualified for benefits, but they fired me before I could claim them. I didn't have a back up plan, but thankfully I lived with my family, and that gave me time to look for work else where.
With everything, you need to plan in advance. Even if you work at a fast food place, they have the right to fire you without letting you know in advance.
If you want to be a SAHM. You need to plan. Date men selectively, read on ROH benefits for marriage, and prenup agreements and have it stated in your marriage contract that if divorce happens, that you're entitled to a selected amount of money, aswell as your kids.
Also, begin now while your single brining in passive income(sell stuff) and put the into your private savings and physical savings.
You can also ensure if you're raising kids to have them homeschooled to qualify for homeschool benefits aswell as have them have a small part time job by 14-16 years of age.
Im a Business Analyst and being a BA is a hard job and it is stressful to work in Tech. They want everything for yesterday and you need to be learning constantly. Specially if you dont want people to sell you BS. Just saying. Think it twice lol

Where there are other people involved- results differ. For example, FA's can go through a calm day with only two short flights _or_ a stressful day with one flight that delays by so many hours that people start shouting (*eta:) at the FA-I have seen this (ignoring that *factors such as feul availability, weather and whatnot, contribute to a delay and frankly an FA can't _control_ those things??)😮
But this video series is great because I think it brings up lines of work people aren't always readily aware of. But remember, work is work and financial insecurity can find you in any line of work because life is so expensive. Don't beat yourself up for being stressed by a job because NONE of them are fun. Respectfully.

I think stay at home mom who don’t have to work outside the home keep the home running smoothly. Unless you can pay for outside help, you should be caring for the children and tending to the home. Now if your husband can afford to pay housekeepers and chefs to help in the home, your husband and family will expect that you will handle those things.

The government or state depending on where you live. The husband aswell depending how the marriage contract is set up. The husband pays for his wife labor at home that he or she would have otherwise payed someone else to do. He works so she stays home. If he doesn’t work, she’s not obligated to be home.

Im sure most women would love to be a stay at home mom given the choice. I also disagree with cooking and cleaning not being a part of the "job". If my husband were making in the mid 6 figures I would gladly cook, clean, and take care of the children I mean that's the least I could do, and I would do it with a smile on my face. Unfortunately tho this "job" option comes far and few in between. It should not be on the list tho bc not everyone is even a candidate for marriage, or to bare children.....

Nope, it's based on the women. "All women" who become this do not become a shell of their former selves. My mother was a SAHM and many times had to work outside the home because money was low. She hated it! Going home was her break.
Being home gave her the flexibility to get her degree, grow her writing skills as a freelance writer, and learn what she wanted in life, because she set the pace at home.
Statistics also show this depending on the religion, culture, and parental style that SAHM have lower stress.

No, it"s a paying career. Depending on what city or state you live in. The government or state pays the mother to be at home. Secondly, in the marital contract it can be implemented to recieve money from the husband yearly or monthly. Lastly, the wifes labour at home(childcare, cleaning, budgeting, cooking, etc.)is paid for by the husband labour outside the home. In simple terms. The husband works, so his wife can stay home to do the labour that he and she would pay someone else to do if she wasn't home. This saves money for both couples and helps in better mental health in children. The wife if she chooses may also start a business from home, work remotely, or do small part time shifts on the side. these jobs are great but being a sales rep can bring in 500k a year and even though its stressful it helps u build a high profile clientbase and then u can start a low-stress business that lets you travel after like 10 years in the job and then no stress!!
