Ive always thought about adding an external fuel filter on the 10th gen 1.5t. As far as I know the only filter is the sock off the in tank fuel pump.

Thanks for the video. For you E85 guys, I would be cautious, you want to make sure the filter supports E85. If you are in doubt, look at a kit from NRW. That is really nice, and also relocates the stock fuel pressure sensor to after the filter to make sure everything is in check and proper. They also have really good filters and different filters for E85 or gas. My opinion though is that its the injectors that are failing with age or other reasons and not necessarily from contamination clogging them. Your best bet is to replace the injectors with new ones and possibly replacing the fuel pump with integrated filter in the tank.

Is your EAE plenum a prototype?? Theirs doesn’t seem to have the 8 OEM style ridges/humps, rather it’s just smooth

I see your not using the APE X85 kit, did it stop working? I have one but it’s causing my M3 to misfire. So I contacted BPM to get their E85 tune, hopefully that’ll help. Can I also use this with the APE X85 kit?
Yes you can use this with the flex fuel kit. I don’t have the APE kit anymore because I didn’t need it. E85 station is too far for me so I stick with 91 octane now.

What diameter hoses did you use?
8mm but I would go slightly bigger to fit through the nub.
