No. Why? Why can't a male/female professional partnership stay that way, and be close without a sexual connotation? It presents a poor image of women in law enforcement. Men, too, actually. It says their jobs of protecting the public are less important than their own selfish interests.
@@phyllisdicks9830 Oh, don't start with that... People who work together, specially in dangerious situations, usually develop deeper feelings for each other. It's natural! They being just partners is the weird thing here. Haha
@@TheLucasGregory And, how long have you worked in law enforcement? I did it for 20 years, and I can tell you, most of us never consider "hooking up" with our partners/co-workers. We generally see each other as more of a family. Sometimes a dysfunctional family, but family. Close partners involved in a romantic relationship is highly frowned upon, and with good reason. Such relationships set up potentially dangerous situations, as well as possibly leading to toxic, possibly hostile work environments. That is reality, not the melodrama and romance fed to us by the entertainment industry. While office romance in the private sector can be adventurous, fun, and often amusing, in the law enforcement community, it can be fatal.
