Doing a Maintance oil change on my loncin g210 was just wondering what brand oil did you use ? I know it’s a 10w-30 just want to get the best from my machine 👍

It’s a Chonda, a clone of a Honda GX160. It takes the same spark plug, oil, and air filter as a Honda.

I have this engine on a cobra chipper how can you tell if you have put the correct amount of oil in it as I haven't got a level surface to stand it on to fill it and the chipper doesn't stand level.

You can either have the engine completely drained of oil and measure 600ml back in or have it on a flat surface and fill to the maximum.

I just read that Loncin are the same as Honda engines, are they a chinese copy?

They are made in China like most small engines, even some Honda models in our opinion they are a comparable quality

Is it safe to use sae 30 oil for this engine

10W30 is recommended 😊

I live in a tropical climate. Hence I use SAE30. I found using multigrade that the engine used oil. With SAE30 it is fine.

It is also important to observe the API classification of the oil.
So, it must be API SF or higher.
