I don't know if it's dogs being more work than cats so much as having a whole litter of babies, whether they're puppies or kittens, is just an entirely different thing from having one or two adult animals. I'm currently fostering a mama cat & four kittens after they were born in my garage (on Valentine's Day!) and the amount of mess and destruction that four kittens can wrought is just insane 😂 The mama cat is actually very good about keeping them groomed, and they're all good about using the litter boxes, but there's still constantly wet food stuck to everything, dry food ground into the carpets, litter tracked everywhere. They are just tiny, adorable chaos demons ❤❤❤
