I find the drifting more satisfying in GT7 purely because there was hardly any tire smoke in GT sport. Best change ever.

I now realize just how much better the drifting is with the increased smoke show, they went full on with it..and I LOVE IT!!
Yes, it truly is the little things..
like being able to use turn signals or hazard lights.
Even more in settings where you can set buttons to toggle low/high beam on headlights or a option to flash them..
BRUH even the damn windscreen wipers can be set to a button😂

The only problem with that : in real life there is no "restart button"... but I know what you mean after hours on GT7 (or worse in fact : Wreckfest) I feel strange driving on the real road...
@@barra190kw6 why not? Everyone who likes car should try going to the track at least once in their life! Obviously you need money, but other than that all you need is a car in good condition, a helmet and a track in your area!
Sure real life has nothing to do with games, but it's a must try for anyone who likes cars!
Of course if you meant, don't go race in the street then i 100% agree in that, keep it on the track!
I've heard/seen that the RX-7 has good customizations so I was hoping possibly Slap you would do a build on one of those

Amen to that, hope to get my oldest son into GT7. He's never been much of a racing fan but then again he's never played a GT game. This game is pure art in motion, I can't stop staring at it as I play
This is my first GT and I built a 600hp Mk5 Supra and it was spin out city. Went out there thinking Horizon physics and got humbled real quick 😂
You know no offense but i never thought you were the best at drifting on wheel, until i got my own and realized you're actually pretty good... this stuff difficult lmao.

You have to mess with the settings for a quiet a bit to actually get the steering wheel to operate correctly. There is video already online describing these common mistakes on what to turn off and leave on. Also car setting play a huge role 👍

Hey Slap I dont know if you've noticed or not but you're using countersteer assist so its trying to correct drifts for you. if you turn that off in the assists page that should make the car less twitchy ass it wont be fighting you for the wheel

Thank you kindly for doing an actual low horsepower build! I love building these in Motorsport 4 with sim steering w/o ABS. Also, if you ever want to get online in gta 5 and learn how to properly drift a hearse I'd be down to give you some tips ;) Keep it up slap!

I was drifting my 370z earlier today. After my car was twitchy and snappinn all about, I remembered I used to run no camber on my main drift cars in GT6. My G35 coupe in GT6 drifted real smooth, and it was just lowered with no camber. Earlier today I was running my 370z with decent camber, damnn I was annoyed having that car snap all about. 😂 Until I remembered like ohh, I know what to doo. I'm pulling all the camber off. Then it was drifting way more smooth. I also tried no camber in rear, and just slight camber in front, was also running good. Just having more rubber making contact with the track helps a lot with avoiding them twitchy transitions and unexpected snapping lol. These cars definitely don't drift like Forza. Forza definitely makes the cars feel more smooth and balanced mid drift, and smoother transitions .. love it. Something to get used to when I drift in Gran Turismo. I'm having so much fun exploring with tuning and stuff, and running lap times .. damnn I've missed Gran Turismo. It's sick that they added an angle kit, feels good from the little bit that I drove with it. Haven't tried the hydro handbrake, but that's sweet too. 🙂10:40 The tire smokeee is perfection in GT7, nice workk people. 11:35 Andd cleann drift Slap. Man connecting the whole Suzuka east section. 👊

it felt like drifting in gtsport was way easier then gt7, especially now that you have a lot of tuning options and seemed like tire grip plays a bigger role on the drift then in gtsport.. i was very used to drift in gtsport (only drifted in that game tbh) and when trying in gt7 i just couldnt pull it off, so i think maybe now it's more like how it is in irl.. also only having 2 pedals and handbrake on the wheel doesnt help, i guess ill have to start thinking on buying a proper setup. Also car dynamics feel diferent from gtsport so it's like i need to learn everything from start to get good times and drift well (u may watch some gtsport drift in my channel hehehe).

i haven't really played GT since GT4, but I've played the very first GT games and it brings back nostalgia almost for me seeing how good the drifting is. I'm glad they went all out for this game. I'm definitely gonna get a PS5 and this game. and if you are ever down to have me join, just let me know when. i drift regularly on The Crew 2 and other car games. and i especially love playing TD (Torque Drift).

2:53 on alotta engines you can bore & stroke up. If your looking for a great AWD car, try the Mitsubishi GTO MR (3000GT VR4). It is so planted & fun to drive. Alil low on max build HP only producing 597 where 6G72's get over 800 all the time, but it's is a great car.
It's interesting to choose Silvia Qs not Ks and the drifting is lovely
Picked up a '15 BRZ before I shut it down at 5 in the morning, can't wait to tune it and get it sideways!
..Shameless flex, I own a MY'14 BRZ (w/ARK Grip exhaust) & modded MY'04 STi (dyno'd 397 AWHP). On the track the STi can be hairy, the low HP BRZ tho is incredibly fun, I've burned up two sets of OEM Pilots on 18 track days😊...it just loves Scandinavian Flicks 🤣...luckily the tires were free, I'm a service tech at a Hyundai dealership.

I've busy playing GT7 that I forgot about your videos. At the moment I'm using gamepad as I had to sell my wheels during lockdown. So hopefully in the near future I can get another wheel as I find the gamepad controls a little weird compared to previous GT games. Anyway, another awesome video Slap, glad to so many enjoying the game

so there's a setting in the game for strong and weak versions of the auto counter steer system, i play on weak as it seems to be less snappy when transitioning

I've been watching a ton of GT7 videos, since I do not own a PS4/PS5, the game looks GREAT.
Imagine if we could change/remove the license plates? one thing always bother me on the GT series is like even if the car is all modified, still looks like we are driving a demo car from the company that made it.
100% we need some custom ones!!

@@paower213 Not the way I meant. You can change the size and if it says make/model or Gran Turismo. What i wish is that we can remove them, or use real life or a fake GT plate personalized the way we want or something, what they done is a start.
@gerekappo I see. Well we can remove front plates, then the rear plate can be customized in the livery section.
