I only have played gt7 with the controller. I love that the adaptive triggers feel every bump in the road and pedal pressure. They definitely had controller players in mind

Love Gt7 on the controller. Sometimes my fingers get hella tired though from the adaptive triggers
For the clutch problem I actually just turn down braking sensitivity and it makes it easy to keep from spinning out because you can just let off and it Instantly unloads the diff.
The secret to controller drifting is having a stiffer rear frequency. Make front all the way soft, the rear 20 to 40 increments higher. 15 50 45 ish diff. 1.4 front camber and .2 rear.
Theres alot of ways to adjust things. But tune around a softer front frequency makes it easy! You're welcome.

been controller drifting since gt 6 and finally decided that i wanted a wheel because it feels like its getting harder to control drifts every new GT title

It took me some time, but I find it enjoyable on controller, just wiggle at the max stick travel with throttle to control it at steeper angles. It’s like walking a tight rope. Otherwise just drag the rear around at shallow angles

Yes more controller setups. I’m new to Gran Turismo and if you could have a beginner controller setup with some Tips that would be cool
For gt on controller just adjust your steering sensitivity to ur liking.
I generaly slowed down or bumped down the sensitivity for less snappy.nes when going lock to lock or just correcting.
Set your gear ratios slightly short(er). And also very important: regular tires hard and start tuning your lsd in a way that makes the car more controlable for you. Play with extreme settings for a while then take a step back.
Another one would be: run as little toe out on back as you can. Generaly for controller ud need more understeer than a wheel..
And also quite some camber in front and some toe in to minimize the twichyness while you adjust and correct your steering - it kind of slows it down to make you smoother. But adjust it the way you like to drive. Some prefer it with more toe in some like the response so they go with more toe out. Depends also on the car.
Slap you should do a video on how to get adjusted to drifting on Gt7 for us wheel players.
yo slap the reason why your back gave out is because when you're sitting you're disengaging some muscles in your back making others work overtime, the muscle you pulled is the one thats constantly disengaged while you're drifting, trust me homie, learn and master every yoga posture and you'll be backflipping while drifting in no time, maybe a year, but still
Been drifting Gt7 on ps4 and on controller, every car has its own setup and is satisfying when u get it dialed in, my top 3 on controller are , Amuse 350z , Toyota Crown, and the 2007 M3 👌🏽🔥

I’ve been in love with the GReddy Fugu Z when it comes to drifting that’s my #1 car in my heart but truly number 2 to the S15 I have it just holds the line with that S chassis better than any car I’ve came across until the Z, but behind that if you like experimenting with AWD drifting it can make for some of the most fun in the game IMO for controller players. The Peugeot Rally car you get in the end of the menus is absolutely dirty with some comfort hards you can slap in a turbo but I’d try it without first!

@@kwitda_spray I started drifting my R32 yesterday as well threw some new paint on the body it’s lookin real purdy. Haha next will definitely be the R34 for sure I just use it to smoke Nismo GTRs, Vettes, you name it I beat it in that car.. I have 3 different tunes for it but they’re all road racing maybe a high rpm and a medium on the second tune if I’m remembering correctly and a drag tune.. I may just leave it a race car though and make my R33 a dedicated drift car because I still haven’t touched it maybe has 6 miles on it.

Yeah, honestly I've always hoped we'd get a clutch button in GT. Ever since Dirt 1/2 I've always had the habit of wanting to use the clutch, because it feels great! Hell, even CarX Drift Racing Online gave us a clutch button and it works wonders. It's disappointing not seeing it as an option in GT7.

Theres only one lap i need to do while single player. One clean not a to fast lap record a ghost. Drive tandem solo wt yourself and git gud. No practice necesarry. Just fun times. 😄
With controller, I feel like clutch isn’t necessarily needed because of left foot braking, a small tap can extend the corner and can save you from a spin, staying smooth is pretty tough but I’m having a blast getting doors online

I must be drifting wrong every time I go round the corner pulling the handbrake the car slides of into the barrier lol now I know how that guy in Tokyo drift is at the start of his drifting career.
What i usually do when i use Clutch, is having it on X, then having gear up on Square and Gear down Circle.. it works wonderfully! you should def try it =)

I got 61k in the Toyota SR15 or whatever that little bug eyed concept car in the game is called.. I had no idea but for controller drifting that’s more of what I would try out that the fugu Z or you can’t ever go wrong with a different tuning set up for your S15 that car holds lines better than any car I’ve found on controller. And this knowledge is brought to you after about 16+ hours of drift testing and tuning so far! If you could keep us in the loop though or ask the community what cars they’ve found hold the best drift lines on controller I know a lot of people would be into that because there aren’t any videos truly regarding that yet! Also I’ve found a break balance of +1 - +2 just a little heavier breaking on the rears can help with the twitchiness as well over correcting. Like you said as soon as the cars about to break lose and you’re about to lose your line you’d typically recover with the clutch but with that balance and a tap of the breaks 9/10 it’ll straighten the car out flawlessly. When I first started I was shifting the break balance to the front as well and there are definite benefits to both but I’ve found you can control as a whole most cars a lot better with a rear balance surprisingly.
With practice comes perfection..been drifting and racing woth a controller since gt4 finally trying a wheel t80 thrustmaster..and gotta say it is a challenge...but thats wht games are for..to challenge your skills. Def gonna need at least a couple months practice with the wheel tho.
if u get the pause glitch just pause again and use the cursor to hit continue and it will fix

There should be zero lag on the ps5 it's only 20 vehicles. The ps5 is more 5han powerful enough to handle this I really expect polyphony to optimize this game on both ps4 and 5 to handle grids of at least 30.
