- For the replacement / upgrade of the turbo, the whole front of the car was disassembled. This video shows, step by step, how to remove the turbo from a 1.6 THP engine.
The actions shown in this video are (should be) in basic the same for all cars with the 1.6 Prince engine (1.6 THP/Puretech/N13/N14/N18).
For example:
Citroën DS3, DS3R, DS3 racing, C3, C4, C5, DS5. Engine codes: EP6DT, EP6DTS, EP6CDT, EP6CDTM, EP6CDTX, EP6FDT, EP6FDTX.
Peugeot 207 RC, 207 GT, 207 GTi, 207 Le Mans, 208 XY, 208 GTi, 208 GTi BPS, 308 GT, 308 GTi, 3008 GT, 5008 GT, RCZ. Engine codes: EP6DT, EP6DTS, EP6CDT, EP6CDTM, EP6CDTX, EP6FDT, EP6FDTX, EP6FDTR, EP6CDTR.
Mini R55, R56, R57, R58, R59 - Cooper / Clubman / Countryman / Coupe / Cabriolet - S & JCW models. Engine codes: N14B16A, N14B16C, N18B16A, N18B16C.
BMW 1-series (F20) 114i, 116i, 118i, 120i, 3 series (F30) 316i, 320i ED. The BMW N13 engine divers most from the other Prince 1.6 engines.

Hi, do you know of any common issues with this engine that can cause rough idle when the engine is warm? I don’t have any codes.

صباح الخير ... انا سعيد جدا" بالفديوهات بتاعة حضرتك .. والف شكر ..انا من مصر ولدى سيارة بيجو 508 موديل 2015 ، وانا اعشقها ... حاليا" عندى مشكلة بعد نصف ساعة او ساعة من التشغيل واثناء وقوف السيارة .. احيانا" يوجد دخان ابيض مائل للازرق وعند الدعس على دواسة البنزين لمدة 3 الى 5 ثوان يتم ازالة هذة الدخان ... وبعد فترة قريبة تتكرر نفس المشكلة ولكنى لا اعرف مدى تكراراها ...
فهل ممكن تقول لى ما المشكلة ... شكرا" جزيلا"

j'ai changé mon turbo semaine dernière sur ma 208 gti, et effectivement j'ai été obligé de démonter le collecteur.
impossible d'accéder réellement aux vis de la bride sans déposer la fonte
How..... Do you get to the intake manifold? I want to check for carbon build up but peugeot haven't made it easy, have they???
No work done on the intake. Carbon build up has been removed twice so far. It really makes a hugh difference once cleaned.

So, finally got round to taking the inlet manifold off and cleaned them intake valves. Oh dear god they were a mess. The inlet manifold isn't too bad to take off once you've got the wipers and scuttle off. Messy but worth the hassle.
Capped off the inlet pcv pipe and now just using the other one with my catch tank. Let's hope it stays a bit nicer in there! Thanks for the inspiration to get stuck in!!
