  • This video is about staying safe on my Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. The exhaust sound in this video is raw and unedited. The color of the bike is called Orange Crush. The Interceptor 650 is super fun to ride. There's nothing like it. In this video I took a ride through town on my Royal Enfield to get in some traffic. I wanted to show you how much is going on around you when you ride a motorcycle. This video will show you a few things I do, and watch out for, in order to stay safe when I’m out riding my Interceptor 650. Always wear protective gear including a helmet. Also, stay alert and be ready to react when you are out riding any motorcycle. Stay safe and thanks for watching.

How cleverly put together this video is. I really like your pov on your channel and your video style. Thanks my friend.

@7n8th Thanks for the comment. I would like to eventually add another POV showing head movement for u-turns and such. I'm glad you like the video. Thanks for watching.

Really enjoying your video content, keep it up! Will you be making a video on how to replace the regulator rectifier on the interceptor 650? I need to replace mine and looking for information and sources as to how to do it properly. Thanks again for the awesome videos.

@Kyle Walker Thanks for the comment. I can probably do a video on the rectifier in the near future. I'll look into it. Have you tested yours to see if the rectifier is the problem? Thanks again for the comment and thanks for watching.

Good riding. I got an LED headlight with a halo (from Eagle Lights) and it has provided a massive reduction in the number of vehicles pulling out on me and turning left in front of me. Highly recommended.

@Pete B Thanks for the comment. I'll definitely take a look at that. I really need to upgrade the headlight. I've outrun it a few times. Thanks again and thanks for the comment.

…on their website they don’t mention RE as an option for lights. Now what?? :(

@Michelle Friend Hey, when you comment on someone elses comment they won't know unless you mention thier user name. They don't get alerted. So, use @username at the beginning of your comment and they'll be alerted. Just edit your comment. Then he should respond about the website. Hope this helps

@Pete B I googled Eagle Lights but they don’t mention lighting for RE. Please advise what light you purchased from them. Thank you in advance.

Thank you so much for the video! Lots of helpful examples of warnings. I am actually going to the dealership tomorrow to check out an Orange Crush as well. This will be my first ever bike! Do you have any recommendations for armor pants and jacket? I have a helmet but definitely want to gear up. Thanks!

@Andrew You're very welcome. Thanks for the comment. You will love the Orange Crush in person. Get it out in the sun if you can. It's beautiful. Congrats on deciding to buy your first motorcycle! I can't recommend anything because I haven't tried a lot of different gear yet. I can tell you what I wear and for summer gear I love it.
      Pants - Klim Marrakesh
      Jacket - Klim Induction
Gloves - Odin MFG Heavy Hitters Perforated
      Boots - Falco Patrol
I have two helmets. The first is a NEXX SX60 Jazzy. The second is a HJC F70. I spent a lot of money on my gear and I plan on getting more. Glad to hear you're gonna gear up. Stay safe. Thanks again for the comment and thanks for watching.

Get tutorial! Red arrows say it all. Question: in your opinion, does the headlight shine brightly enough to see and be seen? I have yet to ride at dusk or nighttime and have read mixed reviews on the factory headlights brightness. Your opinion please.
And you for my clarification, you flashed your head light because..?

@Michelle Friend Thanks for the comment. I haven't had any problems with people seeing me. However, I do have a problem seeing on super dark roads with no street lights. I highly recommend upgrading the headlight. Especially for touring. I flashed the headlight in case the driver in the median didn't see my steady headlight. The flash would hopefully get their attention. They might not even be looking at me until I flash the light. You never know. Thanks again and thanks for watching.
