I’m an Everton fan. I used to ridicule him for his early days where he would run down the wing with his arms up & limp wrists. His laughable finishing ability at Liverpool. He’s really grown leaps & bounds since going to City. The media is ridiculous in their coverage of him. To be fair, at least the talking heads at Guardian were highly critical of the coverage, so it’s not the entire scope of the media.

However people need to remember this is their careers, it's a very very short career compared to most peoples that last 40 years etc. We all try to make as much money as we can in life job wise, so saying that we would all make the same decisions footballers take to increase their own wages.
