I wear a seiko. It looks very similar to that Mine is self-winding it does ok. Gotta reset the time once a month it loses or gains a few minutes. That is a good looking watch. Good to hear everything worked out. 💪
I'm small guy. But after many years of wearing diving watch, I feel smaller watch is so not for me now. Smaller watch may look fit, but the ease of read on well made large watch is a god send.

Wish I knew about this a month ago. I was in the market for a watch and I am kinda funny about them also. I wanted analog but not the size of a manhole cover and I dont care for subdials and all the crazy crap. I had the el cheapo Smith & Wesson version of this, basically as my work burner watch and it didn’t take long to break it. I finally found a used Citizen with Eco-drive which appeals to me as one doesn’t have to replace batteries as long as light lands on the face of it more frequently than 6 months. It does have a date window which I don’t usually like but this one is done right where if you set the date in the morning (or fix it for months with fewer than 31 days), then it mechanically trips every 2nd time both hands point to 12 ( aka midnight) so I have come around on date window bc they do not work well on cheaper watches
Alright. Nice watch. Damn thing glows good, too. Hand surgeries are a weird thing. Had mine worked on a few times. Always took for granted the opposable thumb thing until it gets taken away. They're kind of a big deal.

So why not get a smartwatch? Mine cost $30, so I could buy 5+ of them in place of this one. It has remote photo, music control, BT phone calls, flashlight, compass, heart rate, BP, activity tracker... Within a year they'll be paired with personal AI assistants. It's even 'waterproof' (maybe).
