  • FabRx Ltd., in collaboration with University College London (UCL) School of Pharmacy, is evaluating 3D printing to produce Printlets™ (3D printed tablets). Our aim is to make healthcare personal by producing personalised medicines and medical devices using 3D printing, tailoring the dose, shape and size for each individual patient. This video belongs to a series of videos demonstrating the wide range of 3D printing technologies that we use to create printlets and medical devices. In particular, this video shows how we print the drug salicylic acid (key ingredient in topical anti-acne products).
In this video, a stereolithography (SLA) 3D printer (Form 1+) is used to print with a drug-loaded mask for acne.
