He was such a bright, interesting, articulate man. And his great "gifts" were his incredible skills and devastatingly good looks, which ironically did him no favours personally. I've seen all sorts of interviews with him where he seems unrepentant and boastful about his "conquests" with Miss Worlds, etc. plus where he's been drunk and his looks have gone....I've never seen this before. It's very sad all-round. He's only mid-twenties here. Well, he didn't just waste his career, as some people say. He played a lot of games for Manchester United from an early age. He was clearly very troubled and didn't know how else to cope but to drink. I'm very sorry how things ended for him; but I am glad that footage of his footballing genius remains.
