Late feature to some 2020 models. Ours beeps when anything is in the blind spots. That beep doesn't come from the gauge cluster either. It's somewhere else

But the blind spot monitor doesn't beep if you turn your signal on when a car is in your blind spot... hmmm

BSM doesn't beep under any circumstances. It just illuminates.
