If you want to make a good fluffy whip top you can use a soap base called whipped soap base I think you can get it on Amazon for like 20$ but it makes whipped soap
I know this is an older comment but for anyone who reads this now I thought I would add that whipped soaps will not harden, so if you are going to package these for sale or to give them as gifts, they will not harden like melt and pour soap or cold process soap.
How do you manage to manipulate the top? My melt and pour just is a runny liquid with a skin on top, and I can never get a nice creamy whip look for the top...
Iv been making soaps for a bit over 4yrs now and i dont have a thermometer either, if i can comfortably touch the sides of the container then I know it's ok to pour :)
Really kind of you to share your fabulous soap. I love the whipped look on top! Now I know how to do it =). If you don’t mind me saying, if you are giving the soap or selling it to others did you measure how much fragrance you put in? It looked like you just put in a random amount. Please correct me if I’m wrong! I just don’t want anyone coming back to you saying it upset their skin. Have a great day and thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us xx
I also buy the Stephenson range that is SLS, SLES & WSLS free MP Soap Bases and for my candles, Melts and other body Products I use Ecosoya Q220 which is the safest especially for Candles as it won't burn if accidently tipped over. I buy from the Australian partner of Bramble Berry Called Aussie Soap Supplies
Hi, the video is quite helpful. Thank you for uploading it. I would like to know what quantity of soap base and essential oil should we use? I had made a soap two days before but the soap tends to break into parts. I am confused about the measurements.
Hi there! I order my soap base from bramble berry. But if I’m in a pinch I’ll get it from hobby lobby or Michaels! If the soap is breaking apart maybe you didn’t use enough alcohol? You should spray the alcohol in between layers. I use 91 percent isopropyl alcohol
thank you so much! sorry for the late response, but I would recommend waiting 24-48 hours at least to let everything settle before using your soap. thank you for watching!
That was nice and pretty. Love spell scent OMG The Best. Question .... the color blocks, are they the same as the scented candle w blocks or tarts? Please let me know ThankU (newsuby :)
Naturally FAN-Tastic color blocks are bramble Berry’s high intense colorants for melt and pour soap! I absolutely love using them to achieve my colors! Check out soap queen tv and you’ll find tons of info on the soap supplies bramble berry sells!
Imagine having a CZcams channel and not replying to comments or having and interactions with the people taking time out of their days to watch your videos and try learn a new craft
No reason to be negative, she replied to many comments. If you dont like the soap, channel or technique that's ok then just dont watch. Have a great day.
Lou yes I have seen it here on youtube.m, but I’ve never tried that method. I can’t remember the CZcamsr who has found a recipe for the melt and pour piping. But if you type that in your search bar there are a few tutorials! Good luck!
Royalty Soaps has a video called "DIY Starbucks Hot Chocolate Soap |#12DaysofSoapmas | Royalty Soaps" and she makes a melt and pour recipe that she pipes to look like whipped cream
Omg yes! Thank you! 🙏 I was thinking you couldn't do this fluffy look unless you had cold pour soap! Woo!
Soooo helpful!! I want to incorporate colors and texture in my melt and pours and watching this was so inspiring!
this is the best tutorial I've seen so far fluffing up the top omg that is genius! lol I was wondering how to get that affect omg its soooo cute!

I like winging it too! Hah!!!
I love this. I’m about to give up on this though. Every time I melt it down the top layer hardens before I can fully pour into the mold. 😭
Are you melting yours in 30 sec increments? Don’t give up! You will figure it out!
lovely soap
Ravishing Lather thank you! 💜

How many ounces does this mold take?
Good work friend 👍New here.
Where did u buy the soap base from
Lisha W I purchase my soap base at Michaels!
I am making soaps and I am a beginner but the soap' s skin comes so what shall I do
You can just re-heat it in the microwave. If you want to wait for it to cool a bit, keep stirring it to stop the skin :)
How many grams of melt and pour soap did you use?
What was the pink stuff that you used at the end?
Channa Michele sprinkles!

Can melt and pour be piped for toppers. (Like when people do cakes)

I’m brand new to soaping, how do i find ingredients and measurements?\
Sandra Kennedy try amazon and Etsy for ingredients. The dollar stores for some equipments.
How long did it take to fully harden?
I think with melt and pour it sets within 6 hours but usually people leave it over night and cut it the next morning
You shouldn't be using metal spoons to mix
Afaik, as long as it is stainless, its alright.
very lovely soap .hope you sell a bunch.
jenise german thank you so much! I only make soap to give away as gifts! They’re a hit!
Is there a book that teach you this
hy.. i was wondering if this would be the right kind of alcohol? IPA Isopropyl Alcohol 99% pure ISOPROPANOL
Bianka Varnai yes! Use what you have on hand!!
If you want your soap to look whipped then literally whip it with a mixer
I like the way she did it. It looks natural rather than like cool whip.
Thank you!
If you prefer to whip it in the mixer good for you!!! That’s the amazing part of creating your own craft, you do you booboo 😘🤣

glitter is bad...it kills the fish that ultimately end up eating it when the soap goes down the plug hole
It depends on the type u get. I know theres a couple that are nature friendly
They sell biodegradable glitter dear.
