The greatest series ever made??? What? It seems really low budget and not well produced. I know it has a long history but I could never figure out why.
Love great plots, this episode has a great plot, a great episode. Alan Young in a serious role, love it. The fact that this was the man who invented Stetson hats, made the episode even more interesting.
Weird, that I should see this right now. Y'see, I have an old Stetson that I bought in the summer of 1999, and that I've worn pretty much every time I've left the house since then. ...and recently, out of the clear blue, I've discovered I have heart problems, and may need surgery. ( I have an appointment with a cardiac surgeon next week. ) My first thought was that maybe my time in this wretched life is over, or near to it. But a lot of things lately seem to be pointing at a new beginning, rather than an end. Coincidence? * shrug * Maybe. Who knows? Maybe I'll get the chance to tell ya all, sometime down the road. * tips hat *
@@MrWoodyo - Thanks. The cutter is saying I need bypass surgery, the non-cutter is saying stents might work, but is treating the situation with meds for now. ( A man with a hammer is too inclined to see every problem as a nail, so I tend to be leary of any advice given by a person who makes their living cutting into people. ) So... at this point in time, I'm doing well enough, and ain't gonna volunteer to be opened up like the thanksgiving turkey until I have to. I'm also aware that medical studies say medication works as well as stents do, and without the risks and complications associated with them. So until things get worse, I'm probably just gonna stick with taking a handful of pills a couple of times a day, and avoid making things worse with scar tissue and possibly faulty medical devices. @@dougleclaire9424 part of the reason is they are based on true stories. You get a bit of a history lesson with a little bit of Hollywood mixed in.
