@• mankenntihn • Because he has a violent past, and has actually bitten a person's ear off. That much information is enough to elicit a more thoughtful verdict. People who commit lesser offenses don't get visitation rights. If any of the evidence scarcely suggests child endangerment, then its fair the visitations should be supervised.

@• mankenntihn • You have to understand the judge knew the father had a history of violence, abuse, aggression, and drinking. If you watch the video it is stated that he strangled the mother of his child, and was acting physically abusive to his mom in front of his daughter, and the daughter did state she was scared of her father. It's probably just a different of opinion but it's important for judges to keep this instances in mind so others don't get hurt.

Also exactly who in the “State” would you have her sue? No state agency was involved in their case. This was a adversarial domestic legal proceedings (plaintiff v. respondent) The judge was careless based on what the mother said in this interview and the info in the father’s mental health evaluation but you still cannot sue the judge. Could the judge have some implicit bias toward the mother? I don’t know kind of sounds like it. I hope the recall works or he is not re-elected to his seat if he is in an elected position. Or possibly a history b of siding with fathers over mothers. Which is odd cause usually the justice system very VERY heavily favors the woman. The thing that was wrong to me s that he orders them to be mentally evaluated then when the dad turns out to be worse than the mother he just ignored it. If the diagnosis had been flipped he probably would of given the father sole custody with only few supervised visits for the mother.

8:20 there will not be safety for kids, as long as so called child advocates say, that violent parents have unsupervised custody, because otherwise “we’d have lot’s more kids in foster care and lot’s more kids not seing their parent”. Exactly, guess what would have changed in Kayden’s case, if she had not seen her dad unsupervised? Yes, she would live!! It is the courts obligation to clarify contentious claims, not to ignore them and hope for the best - that’s not law! Neither is it lawful to count one lost life against many improved lives. That is against the most important human rights! And he calls himself a child advocate, shame on you Frank

My son has many medical issues including a bleeding disorder. We had called child services and police 3 times for leaving marks on my child, they did nothing. It wasn’t until he gave him a black eye that they finally did something. He missed half the supervised visits and eventually lost his rights to my child. People are convinced by affluenza & appearances and do not look at or judge the big picture and the roles each person played. This women drove her unstable husband to desperation in her attempt to recreate her fairytale world with a new man and forgetting the rights and needs of the little girl and her real daddy. I see mom as a culpable villain here too that did not make decisions on what was best for her daughter or she would not have tried to "replace" daddy and pretend its a real family. I assure you, she violated her child by forcing her & everyone into an unnatural situation. This divorce and step-parent situation is creating these nightmares for everyone everywhere & its the children who suffer unless we can find a way to really snatch them out of the fire & let the birth parents suffer their own tragedies instead of hoisting the consequences upon the children. .

That system is going to end because it is destroying everyone. Only one parent can be named as custodial parent and the other one can work and both parents shall raise the children and if not, go to jail until the child is 18. Let the parents suffer instead of the children. The system we have now absolutely destroys children, violates their human rights and is cruel and unusual. I spent my teen years helping support my five siblings and looking over my shoulder constantly. He went on to marry another woman, and abused her and their three children. His family supposedly stepped up and took custody, allowing him to take the children from their home anytime. It is sad and sickening that courts are not more in tune with mental health issues today. The problem is; if you automatically attach disorders to people (men) when they are convicted of a crime, it doesnt mean anything. It is a testimony to how awfull diagnostics are in the psychological realm. Heck i could expand by pointing at various 'tests' and how flawed they are, but if it doesnt mean anything to you that an entire category of people AUTOMATICALLY get these disorders, then thats not going to help you understand anything.
And if you do that automatically, you are going to be wrong a whole lot of times. And that then means there is no understanding of what brought someone to something.
And that then means you are not contributing at all in preventing such things...
The reason for that is sheer political. Because the entire sector is left idiots, which by definition party with women, opposing men.

    This story breaks my heart.
The court system let this little girl down.
There are very many similar cases like this one where the court claims the decision is in the child's best interest and later death happens in the hands of a mentally ill parent.

“Well he’s not hurting you “ this is the problem they wait till someone gets hurt... how pathetic they are if it was them they would’ve made sure something would’ve been done to keep who ever away the judge is disgusting for allowing someone who has a violent history be around an innocent child.

Yes this is what they said in my case too. My spouse beat me so they said it has no bearing on the children. 10 months after the separation when the children were old enough to speak for themselves they told us all that my spouse was doing. The bastard got away with it because the children weren't old enough to speak for themselves on the witness stand so it was my word against my spouse's word, according to the law anyway. The ex-spouse is free to this day but my children are grown now and surviving. And sadly, the spouse beater pedophile did not have their reputation ruined.

Person Incognito I’m sorry you had to go through that . It’s sad because just because the physical abuse isn’t happening to the children directly they are around that environment so mentally it affects them. But they don’t realize it when it’s said and maybe it’s because some people men and women lie about abuse but i still feel they should take every case serious , because you never know

Andrew Gabriel Yo, dummy definitely not a judge that doesn't know the family/child or what the situation is. The parents should decide and if one of the parents is not fit to, the parent that is fit should be able to. And if neither parent is, then the grandparents should, but it should be someone that knows the child well and one that the child trusts, so that person can inform the judge and give a story as to the situation so then the judge can make a sound, reasonable, beneficial choice for the child, so this tragedy doesn't ever happen. I have had an experience like this but no murder, with my sister, her ex husband and my nephew and if the judge would have only talked to my nephew and what parent he wanted to be with and trust the most, my nephew wouldn't have been living in squalor and abuse for years. But because the judge "thought" he knew best for my nephew, he put him into abuse and if the judge got off his high horse and listened for once my nephew could have been living with the parent that cherished him and cared for him. Instead he was put with the parent who only used him to get child support money for themselves and to use him for manipulation on others. Sorry not to be a jerk or have a long comment, I just wanted to get a point across and educate.

At the point of this recording, this mother had been grieving 24 hours a day for a month straight. How dare anyone judge her by the few short minutes of her talking without tears. There are 23 hours and 55 minutes left in just this 1 day that you don't see her. There are different stages of grief that hit you, in no apparent order, over and over, and I know all too well that occasionally you enter a numb period where you feel like a shell of a person. Your mind and heart giving you what you need to continue to push on...a small reprieve. To judge her based off this video is horrific and I hope she never reads those comments.

System looked like it failed that little girl.
With 17 aggravated assaults including biting off a person's ear on record. You would think a parent's plea to the court to have supervised visit for this violent man would make sense. Makes no sense why that judge wasnt able to see this.
