That third story was me, and you wouldn't believe how much my eyes bulged out of my head when I saw this in my recommended feed. Thank you so much for bringing this story to life!
Edit, I showed my dad this video, and he told me he STILL has the hecking board! I thought it was trashed, but no...the man kept it.
You wrote that last one?! How am I thinking of Red Green over Phil Swift about your father?!
@@agentnintendonate1thee2tan89 Because Duct Tape!
Are you sure your dad and Red aren't the same person?
@@agentnintendonate1thee2tan89 Yeah, the research there is inconclusive.
In Red's mind, duct tape IS the handyman's secret weapon.
My dad was a Milliput Fanatic. Milliput is basically a military-grade modelling clay. It's hard and reliable. It started life off as a military repair material and eventually into modelling. One day, we were on Holiday in Scotland and my Dad's Morris Marina started leaking coolant. My older brother suggested to find a telephone and call for help and I agreed to. My dad said "No, Milliput will solve it"
Me and my brother exchanged glances (My dad is not that much of a reliable handyman) and as he applied Milliput to the crack, we set off. And surprisingly, it worked. The Milliput held all the way to the Hotel in Inverness. We then went to a Mechanic the next day and he was amazed too.
As an American I've only heard of the Morris Marina from a few _Top Gear_ clips but that sounds like to me a mechanic life hack for the Marina
I'm listening to your commentary while listening to my church piano play. It fits very well
Divided Allegiance.
Star Wars Fan. Star Trek Fan. Right here. I appreciate both references.
For the 1st story, RIP to all your family members and dogs, OP. Life's going to throw curveballs at you, and best of luck to you on enduring it.
For the 2nd story, I know how you feel having a lazy boss(es) knowing that you think they'll look out for you, but they don't and don't address the issue immediately. That's why I left 2nd shift and went to 4th shift at my job. Good luck finding a new job, OP!
Finally, for the 3rd story, crazy that duct tape actually helped fix the problem that what your dad was trying to do lol.
I lost it at " and then he just DUCT TAPES IT BACK TOGETHER "😂
I have a neat handyman story. Me and my brothers were playing roller hockey in out driveway. I was using an older wooden hockey stick. As I go for the puck, I accidentally clip my brother's shin. We were all wearing shin guards and kneepads since it was a concrete driveway, and I didn't hit him that hard. But because of how old the stick is, the handle breaks. And since we didn't have any other stick available, I grab the roll of duct tape off of the work bench in the garage, wrap several layers of the stuff around the broken part, and continue using it. It never broke after that, even after hitting out goals hard enough that it should've broken. So yes, duct tape does solve everything
They used duct tape to fix a space shuttle once
Don't forget Gorilla Tape, guys! That's a big help too!
I wish this story was animated this was hilarious 😂
Thanks Victor for the story. That was my first story Victor was reading about my depression. Now, if anyone says “get over it”. I CAN’T RIGHT NOW. Depression was something I never experienced before. But, I’m still getting over it. Before those people who type: “see a counselor.” I’m seeing one thank you. Third, i don’t want any more negativity from any people who comment on my comments about how I look or shit like that. Im sorry for my language, I just can’t take anymore negativity because of how I’m feeling right now. Thank you. Michael
I’ve had the same problems, Mike (if you like going by that). I’ve been rejected four times, and I’m probably going to see a counselor. My dog, Dobby, died at 11 while I was 10. Same thing like Michael, don’t yell at me to see a counselor and get over it. I’ve changed and been talking with my friends. I hope you all understand, and you two, Mike.
Duck Rails
Its alright bro always pray to god for help, whenever im sad i pray to him holding my hands so firmly as a way of being really genuine and honest. God is the best person to talk to, go somewhere quiet and comfortable and pray there thats some advice from me get well soon friend remember me when you get better:)

@@michaelskidmore5086 I never said you were lying, man, I was just explaining how my life was acting up to yours.
@@duckrails3790 To be fair, there is a typo in your earlier comment that says "lie" where I imagine you meant to say "like"...
I hope things are doing ok for you
I love the mixup of Star Wars and Star Trek
Nice Star Wars joke!
That last story was so funny! My dad is the same way with plumbing. He refuses to call a plumber no matter how jacked the kitchen sink, bathtub, or what have you happens to be at the time. Though to be fair to him, he is a better handyman than the OP’s dad seems to be.
Go on then... How many naughty words have you learnt over the years? Handymen usually have some pretty colourful language...
May the force be with you Victor always
That dad in the third story is so crazy. He shouldn't be so completely naive about the proper ways to fix certain things, and instead get the more professional peoples to do it! And duct tape solves everything? I wouldn't be TOO sure about that.
And who tf says "Your head is broken" to a f-cking Child?!?!?
“For those of you Star Wars fans out there, live long and prosper”
I see what you did there lol 🖖
Speaking of Star Wars, this Wednesday the 25th was its 45th anniversary.
@@arenjtumastens yeah I saw that! A few days ago was the premiere of Kenobi as well! Holy cow that show is so good!
@@rivertownproductions I heard about it.
@@arenjtumastens that big black tender engine I think he would be in the stories sodor I don't know
*now that's alot of damage*
Believe me, no amount of adhesive in the world was going to unfuck up that wave board.
From the title alone, I can see this ending up in a disaster
That handyman story reminds me of the Canadian comedy show “The Red Green Show”…and when I saw the icon, that’s what made me think of it.
The star of that show used Duct Tape for practically EVERYTHING(!)
Called it ‘handyman’s secret weapon’ he did.
(My guess is he’s watched too much of that show, and therefore got the wrong influence for DiY)
I mentioned that two days ago!
The forklift attachment they put on an old 4th Gen Chevy C1500 is actually a good idea and would work if it had some effort put into it.
hearing the ductape story reminds me of the rwby chibi episode "the fixer" where ruby and yang's dad thinks he can fix anything (basically he says his girls don't have to waste money on mechanics, plumbers, or dentists to name a few) and he fails at fixing everything.
in a nutshell that's how OP's dad thinks in the lake story (maybe)
11:04 I..I think my brain just committed sui--
I have many, so my dad is a jack of all trades, but a master of none. So a while ago he tried to "fix" my window, basically I live in the hottest room in the house, and near an area with a large amount of bees, so I keep my windows shut due to my fear of them, so one day my dad comes in and complains about how hot it was in my room and I tell him "if you want my window open, have something covering it to prevent bugs getting in" so in my dad's infinite wisdom, he decided to grab a thin piece of cloth, and taped it to my window, and opened my window quite far, to his credit, it did let air through, but i couldn't close the window, so mornings were freezing cold, now after it kept falling down time and time again, I just got fed up, and I just removed it from the window and all the tape had taken some of the paint and material from the wall and window frame. Admittedly this isn't as bad from say, the time he bruised his thumb with a hammer when laying bricks but the story does show my dad's "Jack of all trades master of none" motto
He should’ve used flex tape, the waterproof tape that can instantly fix, patch, bond and repair!
The father from the third story*
Or fiber fix Google it the video is hilarious
We used that as a temporary fix on our roof after some it got some minor damage after an inland hurricane, and it worked really well. Flex Tape is unironically good.
It even works under water 😂
That one commercial actually happened.
Victor could read a phone book and it wouldn't be boring
Will the non-Faceless bigboy from the last video become canon I would like to see that.
2:06 Or in some cases, "DRAGO!"
Sucks for that first OP. If only deaths to people he knows didn't keep happening over and over. It's like he was jinxed or something. Almost like Stanley before he got the Lucky Lamp. If only that wouldn't constantly do that to him.
The first story is mine story. I’m not jinxed, it’s just my family is aging and getting old that’s all.
@@michaelskidmore5086 I see. But still sounds somewhat jinxed to me (just my view). Besides, don't let it constantly get to you every time. You should just move forward and not dwell on it. Never does any good to keep living in the bad memories.
@@michaelskidmore5086 So sorry for your losses 😢
I’ve had that shit in the 1st story happen to me, and it’s led me down a bad path.
that sounds dangerous to me. the boat owner wasn't that pleased about their boat getting covered in glue.
my dad once repaired something with Duck Tape too in that case it was a wind shield wiper
I have a handy man story that involved masking tape. A few years back I was in charge of the supply trailer on camp out with my boy scout troop. We had about 6 or 7 chuck boxes each had a propane stove, cooking spray and various other things needed to cook, but it wasn't a full kitchen. These are very heavy and sorta hard to move seeing as most didn't have any handles, and the one in this story didn't have a latch, For that one we used some old tent stakes in the holes the latch would have gone in and that mostly worked until one day the stake went missing on a camp out. Me and some of the other scouts picked it up and the door opened, we looked all around for the stake bu could not find it. I remembered that there was some masking tape in my dad's truck. I put three lines of tape to keep the door shut and some how it kept the door at bay that weekend. After that camp out there were extra tent stakes on the trailer but remnants of the tape are still on it
Brain once said: "There is no such thing as a happy ending. Life is a series of constant deceptions" THAT, is the unabridged version of "Such is life"
2:10 STEAMROLLER GC HD FLIPPED SCENE XD I REMEMBER THIS SO WELL (THX FOR GEORGE CARLIN FOR GIVING GEORGE THE STEAMROLLER A GANGSTER ACCENT)

Another Reddit Railway story. And on my birthday too!
I see you went back to your original OC. Thanks for doing that, but what made you do so after you got your new one in the previous video?
My grappa is kinda likes a dad in the third story
Who is op most of the stores are from him but the different people
The third story is literally: czcams.com/video/J2l-F1ElJMc/video.html
Am I the only one who thought more of the Red Green Show? Nobody thought of him because they're too focused on Phil Swift memes...
So by the Star Wars references, that means you recorded the third story 25 days ago. Quite interesting.
Man in the third story needed some Flex Tape
I love the George and Sir Handel picture lol
Take a shot everytime he says 'shit' in the last one
I'm not going to say "third" because that would be plain annoying
Wait..
I once fixed a scissor lift by hitting it with a wrench 🔧
It's true duct tape is great, maybe not for boat repairs, but certainly for shutting up an annoying person.
1:15 that looks like Afton the Villianous Red Engine from "The Wanderous Coach" special. Sad he wasn't in NWR Origins.
people use the same model since afton doesn't have an official trainz model
@@natevalleystudios1086 I’d prefer using both.
The only thing he couldn't fix before the boogie board was his relationship
Does “gun it” just mean “full speed ahead”?
Pretty much
What happened to that new model you introduced in the last video?
This story was good.
11:07-11:19 I/We are/am! I get into sort of that mood and say similar stuff to that every time this part happens for that reason. Duct tape can't fix those types of boards! Even if it did this time anyway.
That is awesome
the NHS: thats a nasty headwound, we can just glue it shut (because "handymen" try to fix things with ductape
I relate to the 1st story simply because I also have depression.
I liked your T9 form
Can honestly say that I have had coworkers like the one in the second story only they quit when they had to do any amount of actual work.
1. Why did you go back to the old version of your oc?
2. 5:04 dang, nice take on "Hank but he can legally operate on US rails"
FIX THE SAN ANDREAS FAULT WITH DUCT TAPE, WOOHOO!!!
I have to wonder if Duct Tape can temporarily patch a ruptured Engine Boiler, or if the scalding hot water would melt it off immediately.
There’s a reason the mythbusters liked using duct tape.
Ducttape the handymans secret weapon -red green lol although OP's dad sounds more like red Forman I actually am a handyman that's had alot of success in the "process " if you will and I can say duck tape can fix anything except a broken heart and the government because the only thing thing that can fix a broken heart is time and as for the government well fucking nothing will fix that lmao
Victor, it's pronounced mo par, and if you don't know them, there a performance division for Dodge, second to SRT
I wouldn't trust that dad to do so much as use a can of starting fluid to help get a riding mower started.
Fucking love it😂
Story1 you need the lucky lamp.
What happen to the new model of victor

What happened to your engine overhaul

Dear Victor tanzig I do have a handyman story to tell I’m an 18-year-old man freshly graduated from high school and I was working on my new sword. a Spanish cup hilt rapier to be exact. I was working on the hilt when I cut myself on that metal of the hilt. I wasn’t wearing gloves at the time and I got six cuts. Today it stings a lot but I’m managing by with it. I hope you might post this story. Because your content is inspiring, funny, And cool. Well thank you for reading this if you do. Hope to hear from you soon.
You recorded this 25 days ago? Why?

Follow the ten commandment: they work wonder for you. If you trust in Jesus Christ he will lighten your life. I too have struggled with depression and once I turned to God I slowly through the grace of God got over my depression.
