This story has left me speechless, not only is the husband an absolute weakling for not supporting his ex-fiancé 100%, his mom needs to attend a psych ward to assess what the flip is going on in that horrendous mind of hers. As for op, incredible work on handling the situation like a pro and putting that control freak in her place.
If she's traumatised by her own life decisions she's obviously trying to fuck others up by making it about her. She never amounted to anything and refuses to acknowledge she's to blame.
What a FINALE! Daughter-In-Law & OP are now besties in the end. And I agree with Victor: Both Son-in-law & Mother-In-Law can both ROT. And who knows, maybe MIL did tried to order her own wedding cake in order to marry her own son, because he made the biggest mistake in his life: Siding with his mother despite the whole drama she caused to both DIL & the bakery. And OP is the MVP in the entire saga.

I’m glad that Daughter in Law Broke up because I knew that the relationship between her the Ex-Husband wasn’t going to last with Mother in Law, and yes, OP is a legend on handling this as well
This whole story makes alot more sense if the Mother in law is Greek.

After everything that MIL put the DIL though, i'm really gald that she broke up with that spineless ex-husband and not giving him another chance.
Honestly after all that end I would suggest a no contact/restraining order for both the ex and the exfuture witch in law.

The thing is that _Reddit Railway_ is meant to be something Victor can make quickly and easily, so that he can upload content on a consistent schedule. Using _Trainz_ footage means it requires almost as much work to make as _Stories of Sodor,_ which defeats the purpose of making them at all.

Again my brother dealt with something similar as a member of a wedding band. Only the husband was a decent guy and the MIL threatened to string him by his hair and have him gutted like a fish. He simply said try it and he would be happy to go back to prison for teaching her a lesson in being an adult. He has never been to prison but he looks like he has so the phrase often gets people to back down rather quickly.

I've seen a lot of stories on the Reddit Railway, and I can easily say this one is the best so far. The former future husband was definitely an absolute doormat although it seemed he would change his ways in the previous video. I think "Monster-in-law" is the right way of putting it, gosh was she deranged or what? The daughter-in-law was right to break up with her fiancée. I think she and the OP deserve medals.
Never mind a missile, the daughter-in-law dodged a frigging Tsar Bomba-sized nuke here. Good on her and the OP for handling this cluster-fuck of a situation so well. Good riddance to toxic rubbish.

All the mother-in-law would get is ten years for aggravated stalking and that is about it, the son wouldn't be punished because all he was doing was playing both sides in a wedding which isn't actually illegal, just morally bankrupt.

I personally think Victor is wrong. The future daughter-in-law dodged a nuclear strike, trainwreck, plane wreck, car wreck, shipwreck and a couple billion meteor strikes .
I understand that the future mother-in-law was sad she was never able to have the wedding she wanted. but that doesn't give her the right to do the same to her future daughter-in-law. and the ex future husband in law really deserves what he got. you can't keep your mother happy without keeping your wife happy.
Besides, I doubt that she will take him back. He burned that bridge down to the ground and there's no way to rebuild it.
Plus I may not be a lawyer but I'm pretty sure they have no leg to stand on When it comes to the car. It is in daughter-in-laws name so it belongs to her.

Glad that the daughter in law broke up with her boyfriend. Like wasn’t this guy on our side. NOPE! He really screwed himself up this time. And his mother is even worse. The title to this entire story (yes I’m talking about all 3 of Vicks videos about this) should be “some mother in law decided to act like a (word I can’t say) so her son’s wedding is cancelled.
