PLOT: This sequel focuses on ex-police officer Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker), who relocates from Los Angeles to Miami to start over. Becoming involved in the street-racing scene in his new city, Brian befriends car-savvy Tej (Chris "Ludacris" Bridges) and Suki (Devon Aoki), but his competitive streak ends when federal agents apprehend him and he must enter into a deal with the FBI. Working with new partner Roman Pearce (Tyrese), Brian begins a dangerous mission to take down a powerful drug dealer.

The Spyder had an automatic transmission i don't know why Roman was shifting at all during highway speeds.

the semi truck driver is the real villain in this story, straight up got away with crushing a guy on the highway

Samee! the first 2 are classics beats all fast and furious except fast 5. The first 2 movies and 5 are masterpieces. Still the first 2 movies are the most nostalgic for me.

If you take a shot for every time the camera shows someone shifting gears, this scene alone would kill you

I think the sunny atmosphere had something to do with why this movie makes me feel nostalgia. Paul Walker alive and young. That with the colourful cars, sunny Miami and the music. It to me was such a happy movie. After that they started to take a darker tone. Then Paul Walker passing away it just wasn't the same as when i was a kid. I even liked 2Fast2Furious better than the first movie, this one had a more happier vibe to it.

Yeah Japanese cars are generally good, what I meant actually was these imports are designed for cornering, whereas on a straight and wide highway the brute power of the Viper, Corvette and Saleen Mustang would give them a higher top end speed

What I never understood is why that agent at 0:51 thinks they're running away. He knows they're going undercover as drivers and they even got given nice cars to do the job. So he's surprised when they're driving the cars fast whilst undercover? Almost blows their cover by showing up in the middle of a job
My guess would be that the agent was always looking for a reason to bust Brian. He seemed to be real aggressive at him and Roman all throughout the movie.

I think they didn't expect them to go that route and he thought they were on that road because they wanted to escape. At least that's what i always thought while watching it.
@@ElvenMans, Markham thought Brian and Roman were running because he didn't know Verone was testing them to work for him. All Markham wanted them both to do was remain undercover at Verone's mansion and collect as much information as possible there until they had enough evidence to arrest him. Verone's intention to test those drivers, including Brian and Roman, must have been out of his calculation.
Do you remember the next scene where Brian asked Markham "You didn't know Verone was testing us?" and he answered "No, i thought you were running."?

@@kevsdigitalartsmore3743 Lol Tokyo Drift is so bad. There's no story and the acting is terrible. The 3rd proper one was good as well - Fast and Furious. After that, from Fast Five, when the Rock joined, they became generic action movies.
3 and 4 pretty good too but after that they started to lose me
agree, i think 1,2,4 are a good FyF history, and the third one more like a spin off and a good franchise final
I feel like fast five, while obviously over the top (which one wasn't?) was an excellent film. Plus Paul Walker got to drive around his classic Skyline in it as well, such a beautiful car.

The front of the Evo was messed up, you can briefly see the damage when the Evo and Eclipse pass by after the scene with Varone looking at Rome's profile. But movie magic they fixed the damages.

I remember watching the first movie on tv at home on Cinemax I think it was or HBO. Then I hear the second will release and I asked my dad to take me and it was so awesome to watch the first time. Nachos, popcorn and a giant sprite. The memories are flooding my mind and it’s great. Looking forward to the next 2 chapters of fast x
