@@tdrxyThe Bundesliga is stronger then the serie A and has been since Juventus didn't fully recover since its relegation and AC wasn't able to reach their former Pirlo, Nesta, Rui Costa, Inzaghi levels. Since then the serie A simply has not a single team that can actually compete on that level anymore and it shows. AC Milan wasn't much of a competition for Dortmund in the group stage and Leverkusen is gonna reck Roma tomorrow. So yeah Italy used to have 5 top teams Juventus, Inter, AC, Roma and Lazio in the 2000s the times of Totti carrying Roma etc while Germany had at best 2 teams on that level, but right now there is not a single Italian team that can compete for the champions league while the Bundesliga is way stronger then in the 2000s. The 2000s it was Bayern and Schalke then Bayern and Bremen, then Hamburg got somewhere in the top 3 spots but it was all teams that competed internationally for 2-3 years before spending big on players that didn't work and then beeing out of money and dropping to mid table positions in the league. So it was only Bayern that was a constant quality side. Today the Bundesliga has a flock of Bayern, Dortmund, Leipzig, Leverkusen that are constantly on that level basically like Italy in the 2000s. So the serie A is not what it used to be while the Bundesliga is just having more teams that can compete on that level these days.

The serie A was more competitive then Spain and England then if you look at the top 5 teams. A third Champions League final for Dortmund, yes they were slight underdogs tonight but they are hardly minnows at this level. Some good experienced internationals in their team, this result is not a huge shock.

Dortmund played extremely well over the two Legs and totally deserved to go to the Final. It was two team performance’s and a poor effort from an arguably more talented PSG side. PSG seemed to be convinced they would cakewalk the second leg being down by only one goal. Dortmund wanted it more we’re prepared to fight and when they got the opportunity to take their chances. Our clubs won more European trophies between 1976 and 1985 than between 2000 and 2024 and would have won plenty more between 1985 and 90 if not for the ban. Now English managers can't even win our domestic trophies because our football was taken over by foreigners and the culture was dumbed down to American levels by the media so English ex-players behave like celebrity idiots or become rentamouth pundits and only mediocrities like Southgate go into management.

Football is a very interesting game it’s so unpredictable and things can change so quickly and Borussia Dortmund is a great example of this. Around this time last year, they bottled their best chance of winning the Bundesliga by failing to win the final game of the season against Mainz where the title was in their hands and many people saw them as “bottlers” a team that always chokes and crumbles when it matters most and they’ll never win a trophy. Fast forward to this year and Borussia Dortmund find themselves one game away from winning the champions league as they’re in the final for the first time since 2013 where it’ll be played at Wembley. In between this, Borussia Dortmund in a span of 12 months lost 2 of their best players in Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham, in Europe nobody took them seriously as people didn’t see them as European contenders we all saw this as the same team that bottled the Bundesliga title. As the underdogs, they have thrived every time people have written them off. In the group stages, they were expected to finish bottom of the group completely, but topped the group and went to the RD of 16 and in the quarterfinals after being written off against Atletico Madrid as they were down by a goal in the first leg, they knocked them out and against PSG in the semi finals, everyone believed that they’d get destroyed and it was a mismatch for them, guess what they had the last laugh beat a team that had the “world’s best player” across both legs and stopped them from scoring a single goal. They’ve done all of this while being in 5th place in the Bundesliga. They went from bottling the Bundesliga title to champions league finalists in a span of a year. The champions league is just built different and it’s so different from league football because luck is required and being able to overcome challenges and winning against all of the odds.
They deserved to beat PSG across both legs because they were the better team ahead the way in which they converted their chances and defended well as a unit this comes to down to elite level coaching by Edin Tzeric. People will say that “football has dropped off because Borussia Dortmund are in the Champions League final”, but the reality is that doing well in the Champions League due to the knockout format of the competition, it’s not all about how much talent you have on paper. As I’ve said before, if it is then PSG should’ve won the Champions League by now because at one point they had Messi Mbappe and Neymar on the same team and have had some of the best players in the world. Manchester City should be winning the Champions League every year if we wanna look solely on how much talent a team has on paper. Technically on paper, they’re the best team in the world. Borussia Dortmund don’t have a squad that’s as strong as Manchester City Real Madrid or even Bayern Munich, but the way in which they got to the Champions League final deserves credit because nobody gave them a chance and they proved me wrong every time whether it’s in the group stages or in group or in both of the legs against PSG.
Just stop it. Real Madrid will bury this farmers team in the final and we can go back to saying Dortmund are bottlers.

What i noticed about terzic was that all his games in the champions league., He has always bettered the opponent in the return leg. The first game against psg, bvb lost., Next few games a draw and 2 knock out wins against them, similar to ac milan, newcastle, psv and athletico Madrid. I believe they can beat bayern if bayern advance, according to how they played their games. Against real, i don't know.. this' just my perception though
