Fyi the moss is to put in a moist hide, moise hides are for when they are shedding, you cna make one with a plastic container or one of the hides i already have, just be sure to mist the hide with water so it can stay moist, basicly it help them get thier shed off easier

Heat mats aren’t a good heat source. A halogen flood bulb connected to a dimmer/dimming thermostat is the most natural and beneficial option, Arcadia’s deep heat projector is the second best option. They produce IRA and IRB like the sun, heat that penetrates deep into the skin tissue and heats them far more effectively than heat mats. Whereas heat mats only produce IRC, which only heats the surface of their skin.

It might be to late but do not use any sand even eco earth I use reptile carpet it works good with my gecko his name is mango 🥭

Carpet is not a good substrate. It harbours bacteria, tends to get caught on their teeth and claws, and doesn’t offer any digging enrichment. A suitable loose substrate such as a soil/playsand or soil/sand/clay mix is best.

You don’t need lamps, them lights, moss and that thermometer is not good and you can’t have the mat on their own you NEED a thermostat! To keep it at the right termperature! And you need more than calcium it is also bad for them to have too much of it! Never support petco and just mealworms is a very unhealthy diet!!! I’ve almost reached four years of researching I’m proud that you researched first but not enough

Lamps are one of the best really I have a vid to show
You don't need a thermostat you just use it and that you don't need more than calcium only d3 that comes with d3 but it's better separate 😁
Edit: Petco don't only have mealworms so yeah they have calci worms and calci worms are *SOOO* healthy, and crickets are very healthy to
