- Apparently, #Wednesday isn't diverse enough for some people. #Woke journalists seem to think that Wednesday is somehow lacking in diversity, and want to see more black and '#latine' writers. But is Wednesday really lacking in diversity?

Wednesday is lacking in species diversity. There were too many humans on screen and too many humans working on this show 😤 i didn’t even see a single dog. And no, vampires, ware-wolves, sirens, and stoners doesn’t count. They’re humanoids. I wanted more animal representation 😤😤😤😤

So a show with a Latina Lead, several Black,White and Latin supporting cast members not to mention various other non humans isn’t diverse enough? Modern Hollywood in a nutshell!
6:29how can you write any kind of story if you only thing you care about is representation 8:25 for them to say this they are basically saying that because of your amnesty (black, white or brown ect) you cant write (or tell a story) of a character, just because that character it is not from the same has yours amnesty (black, white or brown ect)

I enjoyed the show quite a bit, although I have a major issue with the plot of Wednesday because for me the show doesn’t stay truthful, not to older versions of Wednesday that came before, but to the version of her they introduced to us in this show. Here is my problem with it: Why is Wednesday trying to stop the serial killer and the creepy stuff taking place? She loves that stuff, she is obsessed with serial killers even idolizes them and she is obsessed with death and tragic endings that she finds delightful. Wednesday, for how she was presented should be deadpan-buzzing with excitement that all this is happening around her and be pleased that people are dying and that the school she didn’t want to attend wants to kick her out. She wouldn’t want to stop the killer, if anything she would want to be captured by them and observe their methods from up close, especially since Wednesday is abnormally unattached to her being alive and gives no second thought to endangering her life to investigate things that interest her. Perhaps later on her character becomes attached to others and grows as a person so she decides to put an end to the killings to protect people she cares about, but before that happens W has every motivation to observe from a distance and do nothing.

Yeah she's a looker. And if you see her in interviews, she really doesn't look quite the same, so she's a pretty good actress too!
My only problem with Wednesday was they forgot that Pugsley and her family were the Adams! They wouldn't be bullied by anybody and stand up for themselves in such a funny way! That being said, this is a great little show and I have no idea why people are freaking out about diversity when there are plenty of diverse characters for Wednesday to interact with, befriend and even run afoul with!😅

Wednesday was great. Best to just ignore ppl who are never happy no matter how much u pander to them.
Exactly, they should definitely just keep the production team that made the show a hit in the first place.
