LATEST VERSION 2.0 (12/3/2019) The soundfont has been updated to include a single .SF2 file containing all of the instruments. The individual soundfonts are still available in a side folder.
I... sold my 3DS and all its games to GameStop so I could pick up a Switch. B-but I _did_ get a DS Lite recently so I could play all my favorite DS games again!!
@@iteachvader How could you betray us like that :( !!! For real, I do get it though, I've been desperately wanting a switch, but I'm too attached to let go of my 3ds just yet :/ I'll forgive you since your still staying loyal with the ds, and releasing all these great sound fronts!
Is 0:41 giving anyone else vibes of Wario Ware Inc. Mega Party Game$? At least until the piano kicks in at 1:15 where it gives me more of a Japanese Sonic CD feel.
@@iteachvader People naturally look for similarities with things they already know, even if the similarities are not that strong... but they both have notes quickly ascending and descending in pitch in a similar pattern (in a longer pattern here). It also reminds me of something from the Mega Man Battle Network series, maybe not one specific track though.
Also they're both made using synths from mid-00s Nintendo games. Didn't mean to imply your song was derivative, just that it made me feel nostalgic. Like this did: czcams.com/video/hEb7OjclFTM/video.html
@@iteachvader Was the high-pitched sounds from Link's Awakening, or the slightly discordant mix between the two? Sorry dude, it was a pretty low effort layering on my part. Ought to have put it through Audition for EQ adjustments at least.
This sound font is way too cool to be Tetris, but at the same time it's perfect because everything ever done for tetris is extra to a perfect degree. You play Tetris and are fully aware you're popping off over stacking blocks, and the game is popping off with you.
This sounds awesome! Quick question. How possible is it to rip gamecube soundfonts and how would one go about doing that exactly? I would really like a Mario Party or Mario Kart Double Dash soundfont to mess with.
Tried Sly Cooper a long time ago, but the samples have no loop points when ripped. To add to that, there's no way for me to map multiple samples to one instrument the way they are in the actual game. There's no way of telling where each sample goes.
You do realize that TF2's music is orchestrated, not sequenced... right? It was played with live instruments. There is literally no way in hell to rip the 'soundfont' to TF2 because it doesn't exist.
Hello ! Would you ever be interested in trying to rip/use the Goemon DS soundfont ? I think it's really pretty, especially for an early DS game, but nobody seems to care about it. By the way, I've shown Hedgehog Stew to many people and they were all impressed ! Thanks a have a nice day.
You can use OpenMPT. It's a free music tracker. Takes a little getting used to, but the experience is like composing music for arcade games back in the 90s.
You're in luck, Robyn. This question has been asked so many times by so many people that I just decided to go through the tedious process of organizing and fixing every last soundfont I've created. And for you picky individuals out there, I'll combine all of them into single .SF2 files, as well as providing the separate soundfonts for those who prefer it.
These are original. Starting a few soundfonts ago, I decided to start composing my own demonstration pieces to show off the soundfont, and to showcase my skills as a composer.
You realize that's borderline impossible, right? I don't know what keyboards the composer used to make the music. BESIDES! IT'S A FREAKING CARTOON! HOW DO YOU RIP INSTRUMENT SAMPLES FROM A CARTOON?!
@@iteachvader, I know how to mate. You just take individual instrument samples from AoStH songs using some DAW like FL Studio, then you would loop those instrument samples. Lastly, you use a soundfont editor like Polyphone and create the soundfont from there. Do you understand how it is done now? Honestly, you don't have to do my request if you don't want to... After all, it is your channel anyways.
@@ValorGenesect That is no way to capture the 'soundfont' of a cartoon, there's far too much background noise, dialogue, other instrument samples layered on top of each other, the list goes on. You'd need to track down the original synthesizer the composer used to make the music, and make a soundfont of that. Good freaking luck.

what do you use to make the music?
There's something about DS music that makes me really nostalgic
Its like wii and n64 music in one
Kiwi it’s the nostalgia
Frankie Ah yes
This floor is made of floor.
I get nostalgia from it too, even though I never actually owned a Nintendo DS and never played any of the games on the system myself...
Mood
Unreleased sounding like a Sonic CD Past Mix there! Neat!
Roger Cameron ikr! I would totally believe if this was from some scrapped zone
R2 leaked music (NOT CLICKBAIT)
As per usual, the tunes in the video were composed by me using the soundfont.
Let me know what you think, I love feedback!!
Sounds like it could be used for techno/electro soundtracks.
I know nothing about soundfonts, but I think people could make some nice stuff from it.
Sounds pretty atmospheric. Great for some stargazing!
I need more. I want more. good job
Very nice
anything that sounds like sonic cd is great to me
Me: ok time to go to sleep
My brain: this song at 1.75 speed
the second one actually bops at 1.75 speed
The DS music really is good.
BOOM tetris for Robotnik!
I feel a nostalgic vibe from these, specially the unreleased one!
Sounds like online lobby music, I love it!
You absolute legend.
I love this so so so much.
That bass line is straight up 🔥
The first or second?
iteachvader Mostly the first one but they’re both awesome
The unreleased one sounds like an investigative theme from AAI
It’s nice to see people still making soundfonts :3
Good stuff, Teach. Keep making these soundfonds, people will use them.
That bonus SoundFont sounds like something someone would use when making a Dissing Your Flygirl Moe meme out of.
Now entering the bonus stage!
Nice work! ^^
I still play my 3ds religiously- I refuse to let it die :(( Thank you for releasing these!!!

This was one of the first games I played on DS. I was never any good, but the music was cool and it was still fun.
Tetris DS has a fantastic instrumentation and I love it all. Wish people made more music with it.
I appreciate this so much
This is awesome. I love this game and I love you.
Keep up the high quality content and we'll have to have a parade or something for you!
A parade for mediocre-at-best music?
@@iteachvader a parade for better music than I'm getting anywhere else nowadays
Groovy tracks! They kind of remind me of Trauma Center a little.
ooh the unreleased one as well?
very nice

Thanks for the soundfont! I gotta mess with this.
The first bit reminds of X-Naut Fortress from Paper Mario TTYD. Great tunes dude!
Why is it that whenever I add staccato sine wave beeps to a song, people say it reminds them of _that song specifically?_

I remember times when I played Tetris on Brick Game console, it had only one game - classic Tetris, with speed bonus as difficulty.
I’m liking this music.
this sounds very Kirby!!! i love it
ayyy more soundfonts
Hell yeah
The first song reminded me of launch base zone act 2 prototype music
Now that I'm taking a more closer listen, reminds me of Super Monkey Ball for the Gamecube, somehow.
I like it

TetrisDS is the real Tetris. All these other ones feel weird to play.
Nice
It sounds like the Mario Party DS soundfont.

so positive :D
If you’re still up for soundfont suggestions, how about Pokémon trozei? This Tetris soundfont reminds me of the music in that game
