Thank you so much for an awesome review, your nails are cute too! I wear the GTS 2 Mini, and I like the added features of this model. Question, how do you like the BT Call feature and the canned responses to Texts?
Thank you so much!! 💓 I love the BT call feature a lot and i find myself using it frequently. The text messages im so so about. I havent been able to get them to work properly. Im not sure if im doing something wrong since messages had worked on my GTS 4 mini.
@@cherylsgadgetgalaxy I'm glad you like the speaker feature on the BT calls! I also wonder why the text replies don't work properly, seems like I remember something about the Zepp interface, but not sure. Have you contacted CS? The reply feature is one of the main selling points for me to upgrade. Needless to say, I have a collection of smartwatches, but love the battery life of the Amazfit models that have the 14-day life ability. Went on a 9-day cruise and did not have to charge my watch using the BT while at sea with my 2 Mini.
Honestly, i havent contacted CS, i should though because its a little frustrating. I loved the idea of being able to respond to text messages on my watch. I have a collection of watches, too and this is by far my favorite because of the battery life. The 14 day battery life is a game changer lol. I have the pixel watch 2 and i love the watch but im lucky if the battery will last me three days.
@@cherylsgadgetgalaxy The watch is $139 right now on Amazon so I'm thinking about it. Curious, have u tried to reset your watch? I really want the quick reply to work. Lol
I havent tried reseting it, no! I can give that a shot though and let you know!
Is it possible to connect an external chest heart rate monitor via Bluetooth during training (running) [this option is available, for example, in Amazfit GTS 4]?
That is actually a really good question. Im not 100% sure to be perfectly honest with you, but i did watch some videos stating you can.

Yes! I do miss the crown alot. I've gotten used to just having the button now, but it took a bit.
Since you had the GTS 4 Mini and upgraded to the Active.. which one do you recommend?
Is the new active worth to buy or i should go buy the gts mini 4?
Personally, the only difference is the fact that there is preprogrammed messages to answer texts which i dont find myself using often. There is no noticeable different between the GTS 4 mini and this one. I would just go with the mini honestly. The battery life is just as good as the active.

For the fitness journey, is it really helpful tracking your working out days and when you should rest and so? Or the mini is just as fine?
You're welcome! The fitness tracking on both the mini and active are pretty much the same from what i have noticed. If i had known both of these watches were similar, i wouldn't have purchased tbr active lol It really comes down to price point and user preference. The mini i got for $100 and the active I got for $150. The screen size isnt much bigger than that of the mini either.
The GTS 4 mini runs on zepp os 1.0 and the active runs on zepp 2.0. So did you have to update the zepp app to 2.0 and will the gts 4 mini still run on the updated OS?
No, I didn't have to update my Zepp app at all to use my Active. I no longer have my GTS 4 mini as I gave that to my sister in law so I can't really answer if it works on the updated app.

Thank you so much! No, you can't answer any text messages, but you can answer calls on it! The battery life on this is pretty amazing.

I guess I should have been more specific in my answer. That's my fault and I apologize for any misinformation. Yes, you can reply with Quick response, but it's not the same as being able to type out and answer a message like you would on an Apple watch or a Galaxy watch.

60hz screen refresh rate?
I truly don't know if it's 60hz. The website did not say but if I had to assume, then id say yes. Overall, it's a really good watch.
