oh wow. I'm really sorry to hear all the problems! When I unboxed this, it did come right out of the box with little battery life but I've never had problems with it charging or keeping a charge.

No, I didn't have to update my Zepp app at all to use my Active. I no longer have my GTS 4 mini as I gave that to my sister in law so I can't really answer if it works on the updated app.

Before this one, I was wearing the Amazfit GTS 4 mini.

You should be able to go to the themes app and on the bottom of the screen should be five icons that say themes, wallpapers, ringtones, fonts and profile. Click on the wallpaper icon in the themes app and at the top you should see five more icons. Click on the one that says live. Click on the photo you want then click download. Once it’s downloaded, click on apply and set it as your lock screen. Let me know if this helps!

For the price, it’s honestly not a bad phone. The camera is not flag ship level, but it’s still a pretty decent camera for the price. It has the 120hz refresh rate, 50mp main camera, 8mp ultra wide camera, 2mp macro camera, rear camera recording is 1080p and 720p both are 30fps. Front camera is 13mp and also does 1080p and 720p at 30fps. It has snapdragon 685, Octa-core CPU, up to 2.8GHz, Adreno 610, 5000mAH, 33W fast charging. It’s not the BEST on the market, but it’s not the worst.

Personally, the only difference is the fact that there is preprogrammed messages to answer texts which i dont find myself using often. There is no noticeable different between the GTS 4 mini and this one. I would just go with the mini honestly. The battery life is just as good as the active.

You're welcome! The fitness tracking on both the mini and active are pretty much the same from what i have noticed. If i had known both of these watches were similar, i wouldn't have purchased tbr active lol It really comes down to price point and user preference. The mini i got for $100 and the active I got for $150. The screen size isnt much bigger than that of the mini either.

Video call on this phone is blurry unfortunately. I've definitely had worse quality though.

This phone only has the bottom speaker so it's not as loud or as crisp as most other phones with dual speakers. Even with the one speaker though, the sound is pretty decent.

In all honesty, it's a really good phone with good graphics for a really decent price. I couldn't use it because I needed more storage and more ram. I hope you enjoy the phone!

Thank you so much!! 💓 I love the BT call feature a lot and i find myself using it frequently. The text messages im so so about. I havent been able to get them to work properly. Im not sure if im doing something wrong since messages had worked on my GTS 4 mini.

I also wonder why the text replies don't work properly, seems like I remember something about the Zepp interface, but not sure. Have you contacted CS? The reply feature is one of the main selling points for me to upgrade. Needless to say, I have a collection of smartwatches, but love the battery life of the Amazfit models that have the 14-day life ability. Went on a 9-day cruise and did not have to charge my watch using the BT while at sea with my 2 Mini.

Honestly, i havent contacted CS, i should though because its a little frustrating. I loved the idea of being able to respond to text messages on my watch. I have a collection of watches, too and this is by far my favorite because of the battery life. The 14 day battery life is a game changer lol. I have the pixel watch 2 and i love the watch but im lucky if the battery will last me three days.

I guess I should have been more specific in my answer. That's my fault and I apologize for any misinformation. Yes, you can reply with Quick response, but it's not the same as being able to type out and answer a message like you would on an Apple watch or a Galaxy watch.
