A Series approach discs from Prodigy were created to bridge the gap between putters and midranges. These are torque-resistant discs that are more overstable by design than the PA Series, and provide a consistent fade at the end of the flight for trusty upshots.
Compared to the PA Series, the A Series is going to be flatter and have an angled rim. The A Series is also going to have a smaller diameter than the M Series midranges.

The A5 for me is that perfect stability that I compare to a really well seasoned Zone. You can put a good amount of power into it to get decent distance but still have it finish left. Nothing beats that ease of buying a seasoned disc... except its brand new out of the box.
