- Visiting my friend Brian Scace's 2-Rail O Scale SVS&SS layout. It's a 13x30' shelf layout with great scenery and designed for operations. We take a tour of the layout, and then run some ops scenarios with a few different trains. Brian is the former editor of O Scale Trains Magazine, and has written extensively about layout design concepts. Check out my friend Fred Eisen's channel (@fredeisen7401 ) for additional interview videos with Brian.
He's got a beautiful layout there, Ryan. I hope to see it some day, thanks for sharing.
Yes he does. Definitely worth visiting!
That`s nice, no drugs or poop in the streets. We also solved that problem in Plunkerville, NO STREETS.
Ryan, thanks for the close up views of this layout. You provided a perspective I have not yet seen. I love seeing one the building Brian got from me, through a mutual friend, on his layout.
Thanks Dave! Everything on his layout is easily accessible so I wanted to get as many close ups as I could. It’s a neat layout! The buildings, track plan, and scenery all work nicely together to create the look and feel of a terminal railroad, which is what Brian was going for. He nailed it.
Wonderful layout.
Yes it is!
nice size layout
It’s a great layout in a modest sized basement. Tons of operation scenarios.
@@ryanexpresstrains8074 yup, you have a main line , switching, what more do you need
would love to see the track plan
I’ll see if I can get one from Brian.
O scale model railroads need at least one 35' long straight section, because the cars are very long.
